I only have 5 more shifts of residency which totally thrills and terrifies me!
Anyway, I cannot WAIT to get my hands on some ink, paper, and die cuts. Not sure I'll get any projects in this month- but I'm still maintaining my year goal of 50. Not ready to give up on that one yet. After residency I know I will have more time.
LOL - - There is a page kit swap that I join monthly here on SCS. It's awesome because you receive 2 page kits that have all the goodies to make 12x12 pages from a SS. The elements I used for the pages came right out of a kit that one of my SS sent me. It's a great little swap, let me know if you want the link. I think they just closed sign ups for July but August sign ups should be opening within the next week.
Your pages are terrific -- you might want to add SBC10JUN to your keywords on your pages and it will show up in our monthly gallery--it makes it easier for everyone to find your pages so we can ooh and ahh over them!!!
well, i finally finished the first two pages for june i have a hard time saying that i'm counting two pages because it is simply a recreation of a page i did some time last year for my other ds. but hey, it's done and i'm counting it ;) here is the original :

Good Morning, Good Afternoon & Good Evening! I was here earlier, got all caught up and in my rush to get out the door, I forgot to say good morning... Busy day here for me. LOL! I spent the morning training to be the boss, (funny concept I know) then DH and I went furniture shopping and had lunch. Great time!
Have been enjoying watching the DS's complete their "Exercise in Futility"... Teens!!!! One says "I bet I can stay up longer than you!" the other one says "Nope... don't thing so, I stayed up almost 24 hours once" third one says " I stayed up two days once" Okay... so now the challenge is on and two full days later, they all three crashed about 5 to 10 mins apart from each other.... HA HA!!!!!! I still have them all beat.... stayed up three days ONCE when I was a lot younger.

Still looking and hoping that last Thursday's challenge would have shown up... I guess it never posted. I tried twice!!!!!
Lela... Is it okay, since I was the guest host for Wednesday's challenge last week and there seems to be problems with my Thursday challenge post, can I just combine them into one challenge for both days?

I added a couple more layouts to my gallery. I haven't posted everything I've done this month, but I have completed 12 pages so far. I have to get busy tomorrow on Father's Day cards and planning a card workshop, though, so I probably won't get to scrapbook for a few days. Sigh . . . Hopefully I can make my goal, since I only have 3 layouts to go. I've been checking out everyone's layouts - way to go, gals!

You have an hour to scrap, so what in the world are you doing online? Heehee!

I know, right?! (or "IKR" as my teenagers would say)
Thanks to the GREAT sketch on your blog which I used I got a 2 page layout done in an hour...whew! It was like VSBN ... the only 2 things I didn't get done were my title Cricut cut and I decided my chipboard arrow needs some paint. I will finish it up tonight!

How cool that you are using my sketch. I post the sketches because I enjoy sketches, but it's nice to hear someone actually finds them useful - LOL! Now I can't wait to see which sketch you used and what you came up with.

Hello there, I have not had much time for crafting this week. Every night after work my nights have been consumed. I'm hoping for a boring weekend filled with yard work, crafting, and hanging out with my boys. ;-)
Lela,
Could you move me to the Spend to Scrap and Matching Saving goals - that's where I intended to be!
I'd like to let myself off the hook and go spend that $75 - but every time we are in a scrapbook shop my daughter keeps reminding me - "Adhesive only - you haven't finished your goals" Party Pooper!
Don't tell her, but I've spent it in my mind already!!!

LOL! Lorus, the Matching Savings idea really helps me because I have to think about if I can put the same amount in savings and it helps me "fund" the next spending trip! It will help motivate you to reduce impulse spends or at least think about it twice...maybe ;)

Cheryl, Page 2 of this layout is your sketch from EMS June 14
I got those 2 pages pretty much done last night. Tonight I only got 1 page done, started alittle later. This is from a sketch challenge on another site. It looks like the sketch you did on the site you were on too! ;)

I am finding it to be very helpful. I am thinking about putting the matching money into a boat fund for my husband. He would love that! I have used so much of my stash and find myself really thinking of new ways to use things I already have. Besides, that constant reminder my daughter is giving me made me realize it is a good lesson for my children as well. My DH mentioned how I always make them save for things, but I buy when I want to - so now Mom is saving too!

I know!! Me too:oops:. DH had promised me a Pazzle cutter machine, and then there are my catalogues, I only have $20 this month (on the challenge) but there is $1000 in the "gunna buy" list in my head. lol

Good Morning all! I see lots of scrappin' going on. Yay! I peeked in the gallery and wow, good stuff! I'm a little behind this month on my goal. My baby ( my 16 yr old) is leaving Sat. for her Russian trip, so I have been getting my mommy time on. I plan to keep very busy for the next 7 weeks to keep from being worried and missing my Cai-baby.
Have a great weekend everyone and Happy Father's Day!!!
