One of my 2010 Goals for this year was to do an Altered Project per month...well, I got one done for January already! :p I really like how it turned out. I got these 2 Year Calendars at the Dollar Store. I used scraps from an old SU! SS Kit! HEre it is:

Wow! Four pages on this thread already! No way can I get through all that so I'll just jump in here! My goal for this year has to be decreased because I am determined to make more cards. I need them for my church secretary who sends out lots! I also need them for my mil and myself to send out. So I think that I'll just go with 5 sb pages per month or 60 per year. That sounds so low after reaching 120 last year! But I was always way behind on the cards!
I also want to join the inspiration word challenge, Lela! Thanks!

I didn't see the mini NYD crop until just now! And to think...I could have been productive today! I'll still probably check it out and use it for inspiration later! Thanks Lela!

I am back!!! And happy to be here!!! I have decided, after a great deal of thought to give up my Stampin' Up business. I am so far behind with my scrap book pages that I have a grandson, born in August who doesn't even have a book yet and the other 7 grand's books are no longer up to date. Something had to give!!! SU was a wonderful opportunity, it blessed my life with many creative opportunities and new found friends but it also took up a significant amount of my time preparing for classes and workshops. My goal for January will be 15 pages and I am committing to post each and every one. You know that will help to keep me honest about my progress LOL!!!

Good job Lela. I did this one year for my BFF (cause she always forgot when my birthday was..you would think after 45 years she would remember? ) and I marked the holidays with special stamps and the day of my Birthday for her!

Good Morning All....
The back spams got so back last night that I finally just gave up and went to bed... But I was able to complete a couple of layouts for the NYD challenges yesterday. Here they are...
Carol, the church I attend has a group called "Stamps of Love". And they get together about 8-9 months out of the year once a month for about 2 hours and make cards for the church. Last year they made over 600 cards. Different ministries come in and take what they need to send out. I've only helped 3 times this past year but everything I've heard has been very positive. Perhaps you could get others together to help? I got drafted for the January (which has now been cancelled) and February meetings since the lady in charge has left for Arizona and I spent a portion of yesterday cutting cardstock and stamping images for the first card (of which I have 88 prepared). I've got 2 more designs to get ready and I hope to have at least 300 card kits made for that February meeting. Only the outsides need done since they prefer to handwrite inside each of them. This is one way in which I am using up my supplies since I no longer paper scrap! And just think, it's now a tax deduction! I still have a feeling that come March or so, I'll probably end up running this group if they do not find someone else willing to take over! Maybe by then I would be ready...just not this next month or two!
just letting you all know that I won't be on here very much in the next few weeks - came home last night and our house had been broken into and my computer was stolen - using another one for this post

Haley - that is terrible, I hope they are able to recover your stuff with minimal damage!

Oh no! That's such a rotten thing -- so sorry that happened. Hope they didn't get too much, but no matter, it's a personal violation of your personal space. Good luck with that. I keep so much on my computer I'd be devastated if I lost it. Don't have a laptop, though, and they'd have to be desperate to unhook all the gadgets and stuff I have attached to mine.
Hang in there, and hope to see you back soon!

My hands are feeling a little better, but I'm still totally doing digi for now since I'm still not able to do cutting, stamping, punching, etc., and it's easier to sit down for short spurts when you're doing digi.

Oh my goodness I'm soooo sorry this happened to you. That is terrible. Praying for you and your family.
Seeing everyone's first pages of the year is getting me so excited to start my own! I fell so far behind last year, so last night I ordered 650+ pictures and have all the page themes planned out so when I pick them up I just need to organize them and I can start scrapping and crossing off pages from my lists!

Have a few pages done. Still working with older photos will be glad to get them completed! It is so cold here today I may just scrap all day in my nice warm room!

I've decided that since I had so much fun making my Colorado Album I should get started on an album of the trip I took to San Francisco in 2007, anyway thats my plan.
