have been off-line for a couple of days so am just catching up. Got my carpet laid in my office so now just to set it all back up again (ughhh). I'm really tired of my renos, but WILL be done Tuesday of next week. Started in April of 2009 - it's time.
There is not much a person can do for growing pains. However, that was 18 years ago that our DS grew 10" in a year and 4 shoe sizes! Maybe today they have new products that help. I felt so sorry for him as he would lay and moan because he hurt so bad. And yes, eat -- oh wow, we couldn't fill him up. Glad those days are over with.
Reached my goal (10 + an extra 9). I have one more page for my Germany album and then it's finished. So my mini goal is to have that completed before Feb 28th.

Wow I haven't been on for a few weeks! I got my goal done for the month and have not been back... :( But a new month is almost here and I have been back in my scrap room the past couple of days. I'll get pictures and post.

Since I've got a snow day today with the northeast storm raging outside, I decided to play with a new template I got from Jessica Sprague and do my DGS 2005 Halloween pics. Did it as a DPS.
Probably should have made a goal for February since I've done 7 pages now for the month...oh well..this is what happens when you get "hooked" on something and can't resist playing with it! lol! TFL

so i realized i'm DEFINITELY NOT gonna reach my goals this month but it's okay. last month i was disappointed that i didn't reach my goals, but this month i have a lot more orders and projects and i have started exercising again so i am not as disappointed. i know i'll catch up in the end and i'm just glad that the orders are coming in!!!

we're on tsunami alert because of the earthquake on chile last night... people are in PANIC MODE. here's to hoping all our islands are okay!!! and here's to hoping it's not bad... according to the most recent update per my DH, it's only supposed to be 2.5 meters on the big island (the easternmost island) and by the time it reaches oahu (other end of the chain) it's supposed to be less than a meter... i guess people are freaked out because the last time we got hit with a deadly tsunami, it was because of an earthquake in chile... but it was also 1960... first waves scheduled to hit a little after 11.
keep us in your prayers!!! here's to hoping i am able to come back online!!

Me too! We will prob be moving there around the end of fall/beginning of winter. I hope to reach my yearly goal, but I will have to put my scrappin stuff in an early shipment to go there, so I will be without it for prob a month or two :(

Well friends, I finished up another dps tonite so I'm at 4 for the month. May or may not hit my 9, but that's ok...it's all progress. Have some ideas swirling in my head for pages tomorrow, but sore eyes and a tired body make messy scrapbook pages with colors that don't match... :rolleyes:

I have a couple of demonstrators from different companies which are friends, I order what I want or need and they will send it to me with extra shipping costs which I send a check or they charge it to a credit card, the other thing I do is I send it to my mom and whenever go to visit or they come we bring stuff or they ship it to me.

Well my final count is 6/10... I finsed 4 more today and I'm not going to have time tomorrow... I did finish 4 cards and a card keeper too!! I have photos of the card keeper on my blog, I put the pages into the ablum before I took their photos.

My DH was stationed there in the '80s so before me and kiddos and scrapbooking :-) I'm sure there are things there (I've seen many people from England here at SCS)...you'll be so busy making the memories you won't have time to scrap! And if you do...there are always on-line stores many ship to US military bases! You're going to have a fabulous time :-D

Wow! What a great educational and picture taking opportunity. (Now might be the time to go digi if you can't find an actual store over there! ) I'm sure I've seen things here on SCS that there are stores over there. Go into one of the other (maybe cardmaking) threads and post something and see what you get back. So exciting!
My SIL and DD move to Aurora, CO in June this year for the next 3 years so I see sightseeing in my future too!

Morning Glories!
Having not heard any big news of tsunamis reaching American and Canadian shores, I am trusting that all our shoreline friends and family are safe? Please update me if I can be praying specifically for safety!
Today is the Closing Ceremonies of the 2010 Olympic Winter Games. Wow! It has been incredible to have opportunities to brush shoulders with athletes and coaches and families from all around the world...and right here in my own backyard! Very awesome experience! And now to end on the high note of a Canada v USA men's hockey game?!?!? Wow, can't get much better than that! Just Thursday IOC President Jacques Rogues walked only 4 feet away from us... handsome man!
Now that my work with the Olympics is coming to a close, and now that the PAC has made our big presentation in favour of keeping our school open, I am finding myself with time (and need) to unwind with scrapping! I've done 12 pages in the last two days! Ahhh, it's such a stress-reliever and I'm loving it!
This week (kids are on Spring Break for the next two weeks) my hubby and I are taking the 4 kids to holiday.... 4 nights in our timeshare, our own hot tub... ahhhhhh. Excellent!
