I LOVE Let it Shine!!! YAY!!! This is my new fave -- okay one of my new faves )) This was done for challenge#5 today on the Verve Blog to re-use/re-cycle something - I recycled a old birdhouse candle holder that I had using the colors that Jackie had challenged us with and Susan's tag challenge and Lynda's flower challenge - here are a few pictures of it - it was a lot of fun to make... the border of the birdhouse is made from the suns in the Let It Shine stamp set - and the sentiment is from this stamp set too - the flowers are from the Feel the Sun stamp set:

Ok. I'm speechless.... This is so neat! And I can't believe you cut out ALL of those suns/flowers! Sheesh! (but it was worth it, from my point of view. In fact, since I abhor cutting things out, can I just send them to you from now on?! lol)

:( Oh that's rough Michelle!! My 8yr old has hit the "Don't hug or kiss me where people can see me" stage! Now I wave!
My son now gives me a kiss at the end of our street as we walk to school so he can't be seen. Thankfully he is a real snuggler at home

To say yes would be an understatement!!! I was jumping up and down and cheering (or screaming as my daughter would day) so much that the cat went flying out of the room a few times and finally decided it was better to not return. Just about KILLED me when it got tied up with 30 seconds to go!! Vancouver went NUTS and they actually shut down Young street in Toronto (BIG deal to do that). The atmosphere in Vancouver was simply electric that whole weekend and went off the charts with the win. I'm SO proud of what the Canadian athletes did. From never having won a gold medal at any Winter Olympics we have hosted to setting an all time Gold Medal win record simply has no words to describe how Canada feels right now Now I must say, you guys played a simply amazing game and made it what it was. Severe post Olympic crash happening here now LOL!

I know, right? I think they are still having a big clearance sale. Better stock up while you can! Only bad thing for me is they don't ship to Hawaii (well, they do, but they only ship UPS, so a $25 order of paper costs about $48 to ship!!). I'm on the lookout for someone who would be willing for me to ship an order to them, repackage it in a flat-rate USPS box and send it on to me....any takers??? pretty please?? :-)
