Default Star Card (mailable!)

Here is the picture of the practice one:

And, here is the template. I saw the card made from a 12x12 piece of paper and reduced it so it could be mailed in a regular card envelope.

oops! sorry about the typo's..folder is the tool. Not a floder! However, if there were such a tool as a floder, I am sure I would go buy it! ;)

Thanks, I will try this today. I've been trying to make an envelope big enough for the other size and it isn't easy!

Linda, I've tried this twice but the score lines have to be wrong because they overlap at some places and then the fold doesn't work. Are the written measurements correct? If they're correct, then I am doing something wrong.

If you make the card with 12" sides on the triangle the card is 7"x6". I have a tutorial on how to alter a brochure envelope on my blog...

Envelope Tutorial

In this case you would just have to cut the envelope to 8", score the 1/2" at the bottom, fold and you are done. Check it out! I use this all the time for 6x6 cards! If you buy these envelopes in bulk they are cheap.

Let me know what you think.

Also, I tried this and I am not getting it either...Are we measuring wrong?
