I was able to download but I am wondering if I have all the images. There were only two! Is that correct? Thanks for the instructions. [email protected]
Just had to tell you all, I made two of these this weekend at a weekend get away with some ladies I've gotten to know on SCS. These turned out great! I'm mailing mine to my mother in law and her Mom as a thank you for watching my kids for a week in Feb. This is a wonderful project, and thank you so much for putting it on here.
I'm new to this wonderful group and have only just "discovered" this fabulous project. Thank you Lynnor for sharing and Thank you Missy for converting to PDF. "Thank you Girls".
Thank you so very much! I went to a stamping event where we made these and I didn't get written instructions. I was looking at it today and almost took it apart to figure out how I made it. You saved me so much time and energy. Plus, I really liked it and didn't want to disect it. Thank you thank you!!

For the instructions in PDF (adobe) see post #39 by missyintx. It was so wonderful of her to convert this into a PDF file so most poeple who could not open the word doc were able to see the directions! Thanks again Missy!
Thank you so much for the fabulous instructions. I have been wanting to make one of these books for a long time and with such great directions, I don't feel overwhelmed to start one. I appreciate you taking the time to post these and share them with all of us.
Thanks again - I sincerely appreciate it.

Has anyone had problems with their books not folding up well? I think I made mine with some of the old SU paper that wasn't quite 12 x 12 and now it doesn't fold. I was hoping someone would have a suggestion for me so that I don't have to redo the whole thing. Anyone? Please?

What exactly do you mean by it not folding? Are the flaps too big to fit withing the main book? If so, maybe those could be trimmed down without having to redo the whole thing?

it is more that the centers aren't all the same size so that they don't fit. Some of the inner panels sort of bow a bit. I don't know how to explain it any better. I think I know how to do again with out the problem, I am just wanting to avoid having to toss this one. I really like it otherwise though. :-)

I get what you are trying to say. I have made a lot of these books and have not had this problem, so I think your first thought about the paper not being a true 12 x 12 is probably correct. Unfortunately, I don't have a clue as to how you can fix it. Can you replace just the base? Sure hope you are able to fix this without having to take it completely apart or scrapping it altogether! That would be a tragedy after all that work!!

I was having this problem as well. Maybe it was just the way I was doing it, but it happened consistently to me every time. After playing around with it quite a bit, I've just posted a tutorial on my blog with slightly different scoring and assembly instructions, and lots of photos - I think the bowing is much, much less and the book stays closed pretty nicely now. I hope this helps someone!
Thanks! I did finally finish my book and posted pics in my gallery. It was a bit of a squeeze to get it folded but I know my friend, and fellow stamper, will love it anyways because she is just wonderful in that way. I can't wait to try another one and will look at this template and Chanteuse's tutorial before starting. I actually found this thread after I had started mine so I didn't follow these instructions exactly but they are very similar. Thanks everyone for the help and the support. I just love this family of stampers that we have here!! {{{HUGS to all of you}}}

Lori,
Your tutorial is fantastic. Such wonderful clear directions and photos! Haven't checked for dimension changes, but will check those later, too! I love how you attached your ribbon. Very clever, and I have to admit, I sat here going *Duh!* Your album is beautiful!!! Haven't made one of these in a couple of months. Guess what I'll be doing today??? Hehehehe!
Thanks again for sharing your creativity!
