Thanks so much for posting these directions to this cute card keeper. I have a question however. The picture in the instructions...the one with your hand holding the card keeper open...the card keeper looks so small, like it wouldn't hold a regular sized card. Is this an optical illusion due to your hand being so close to the camers...making the box look tiny in comparison??? Some body set me straight! :-D

Default Are we psychically connected?

I did something like this that I made up when looking at the lunchbox cardkeepers I kept seeing in "altered" art places... mine was inspired by something I saw in a stationary store and then a cheap file I found at Target in the dollar bin!

I should put some photos of it up... though I gave it to my mom for her birthday... I even taught a class in this, where I cut and scored everything for the 12 people making the file boxes. We made dividers for each of the accordian folds, and used tabs with the round slit punch and brads to attach them...

This is a fun project -- and I am happy to see it here... amazed, too... yours is great!

Smile Based on the one I made, it fit 10 cards & envelopes

The one I made (according to instructions on this forum) fit 10 cards and 10 envelopes. But i would say that is the maximum. If i made any more, it would be too snug. You can see the set of cards and the tote that I made in my gallery: Forums at Splitcoaststampers. It's the ballet blue and elegant eggplant set I made with Wild Rose set.

I just love this project and have made 2 this afternoon, my only question is if you thread the linin through holes in both top (which I did ) or top and bottom, (I think I should have done both) even so I just love them.
