Default Beach Star love Book

Beach Star love Book

This little book packs a big punch! The star shape is reminiscent of the beautiful starfish and sand dollars found along the beach, and the pages are perfect for recording those memories and more! Easily add pages to this design by creating more sections to add additional points to your star!

  • Martha Stewart Crafts All Purpose Gel Adhesive: M012003
  • Mat Board Two 4.25 inch squares for covers
  • Vellum: Two 5 1/2 inch squares for covers
  • Cardstock: Six 8 1/2 x 4 inch strips for outer pages
  • Patterned Papers: Six 7 x 4 inch strips for inner pages
  • Ribbon: 36 inches for tie

What to Do:

  1. Embellish the top side of the mat board squares with stamps, papers, photos, etc.
  2. Place each mat board square face down on the center of a vellum square. Fold and glue
the corners of the vellum over the mat board.
  3. Glue the ribbon across the covers.
  4. Fold each of the inner pages 1 inch up from the bottom to create pockets. Glue the side edges and center of the pocket.
  5. Fold each of the outer and inner pages in half, making a sharp crease.
  6. Embellish the pages with your choice of stamps, photos, or other goodies.
  7. Glue one inner page to each of the outer pages. Apply a thin bead of glue along the short edges only.
  8. Glue the outer pages together, applying glue to the entire area. Make sure your pages are in the desired order.
  9. Glue the first and last outer page to the covers.
