I am joining in the slimline fever. I love the size of this card and know I will be making many more in the future. I used my mini Misti for the images--I think I use it on every single card I make!
I also used a wooden stamp and used my Misti along with a stack of two sets of the corners--4 total--to allow for re-stamping if needed. And, I did need to do that as I did not get a good image the first time.
Beautiful card! Please place the challenge code MSP35 in the like where challenge codes are placed. Sorry, I forget the exact wording, but yours does not show up with the other challenge cards when your press the keyword.
I'm loving making different sized cards! My card isn't quite a "slimline" but it is tall 8 1/2". Here's my card using my Misti to stamp my images and sentiment.
Webster8, Misty Monday said it will be posted tonight. She mentions this is her opening at the front of this thread. It will be fun to see who won! I have enjoyed seeing all of the many cards posted this month.
How is a winner chosen? This is my first month here. Thanks!
One thing to know is that MISTI Monday IS NOT Iliana...this is not a sponsored challenge from My Sweet Petunia.
MISTI Monday does this gift personally because she herself likes the MISTI.
How ever MISTI Monday chooses to the winner is fine by me! I won once long ago when there were very few entries...we never asked how she chose her winner...
Her choice...hat, number, the one she likes best...her challenge, her prize, her choice!
I'm thrilled to see so many entries and see how each person's card was put together...I would never have thought "Slimcards" would become a common challenge...but here we are, waiting for the drawing!
Thanks MISTI Monday for introducing me to the new MISTI, I had to watch a couple videos!

Faye, that is interesting to know! I assumed Iiliana was the hostess!
I only know she isn't...I don't know who MISTI Monday is and have no desire to learn her secret...
I know if I tried I could do it because I'm part of the Stalking Sisters Investigative Team
I found out at almost 62 that I had a half-sister...we assumed I knew who our father was but...he wasn't...DNA is an amazing thing.
So the 2 of us set out with my husband Don to find out who our father was!
We succeeded...
As a side note...today is National Sister Day...I actually have a DNA sister, first time in 62 years...I sent her flowers...we hope to meet the end of August!

MISTI Monday revealed a while back that the winner is chosen randomly. So, the more entries you have, the better your odds. Faye is right in that Iliana is not MISTI Monday. I am so grateful that MISTI Monday is so generous. I won at a perfect time when I not only could not afford the MISTI, but winning really boosted my ego and my spirits. Since then, my situation has improved and I have been able to purchase other things from My Sweet Petunia. But MISTI Monday started it...Thank you! You make a difference to many.
On a side note, I just renewed my subscription to SCS. I have taken so much more away from SCS than I have given. Dare to Get Dirty Challenge is coming up soon and it is only open to subscribers.
Good Luck Everyone! These challenges are quite inspiring!
Wow! Lots of entries this month!!! You guys are awesome!!! I had a pretty productive day, got some crafting in, cleaning, phone time with mom, Facebook group adminning, researching a way of eating to lose my Covid weight... then started exercising tonight and got carried away. It’s 1:30 am!!!!!!! I guess I danced a lot longer than planned!!!! Anyhoo....I gotta get up early for work, so I’m actually gonna pick a winner tomorrow night as there’s a LOT of cards to look at and draw a winner from. That’s awesome!!!!!
I’m loving my new MISTI!!!!
A great Monday to you all and see you tomorrow night! In announce the winner and then post August’s challenge. ♥️♥️
I hope I can get that darned photo to work tomorrow night! Drives me nuts.
Faye, that is so funny, and I can definitely relate, only my number is about 10 over instead of 3. I am also the daughter of a milkman...Have a great day.

Maybe we should start a thread on SCS about being the child of a "milkman" though mine wasn't a milkman...mine was a Navy man and has a high probability of rape as my mother was married to a Navy man...but...we will never know.
Big sidetrack...my brother also is either truly a child of a milkman or his uncle was a true milkman! Can't get knowledge yet past his grandparents, there are 5 male options...
He teased me for years that I was a child of the milkman...well, it was quite a shock when he found out neither of us are a child of our birth certificate father! We honestly never knew anything until March 2020, he just is a teaser and still is.

Faye, my dad really was a milkman. He began with Falfurrias Creamery and then worked and retired from Borden's Milk. My brother's and I were always teased about being the children or products of the milkman. And my Dad and Mom were the first to tell the jokes. My parents were married for 51 years, my dad passed away in 2002. As far as I know he never cheated on my mom...but I guess only he would know. I am not aware of any half siblings anywhere. I guess, I need to look up this book. LOL!

Then you don't need the DNA milkman support!
Yeah for faithful spouses...
Now back to stamping...wonder what the challenge for August will be?

Good evening! The winner from July was finally randomly chosen! (I put the name of the entrant and their card name into a bowl and then pick a slip out).
There were a record number of cards entered, I believe, for this month!!! How awesome is that! I see lots of new names!
The winner of July is allees's! Her hedgehog card she made for her granddaughter was pulled! Congratulations!
I will send you a private message!
Thanks, everyone, for entering this month! I'm off to write up August's challenge!
ps...It's true, I'm not Iliana. I'm a MISTI superfan! My Sweet Petunia is sponsoring the new MISTI, however. She and I work together for the challenges now. Which is extremely generous of her!
It's fun to keep my anonymity, though, right?
