Hi everyone out there in SCS land MISTI owners have arrived and we are out to get you! I had never heard of Simon Says Stamps and today I will be receiving my first monthly kit! I am unmounting more of my stamps and using them like never before because I can get a great coverage of ink! My SU stamps are coming out of hiding that are two-step and now I have to buy some more! All because I joined the community on FB. I AM IN LOVE WITH MY GIRLS! Yep we have two of them and my husband is ecstatic! We are making index fronts for the stamps we are unmounting and we did the beautiful old train set from SU and he went crazy trying out some of his ideas - and he's not even a stamper! Loving the fact that we are now going to be enabling even more of you here on SCS!

That's funny - the day I got mine, I showed my hubby and he immediately saw how awesome it was - he does woodworking so he appreciates the precision. It's an amazing tool.
That's funny Iliana! I'm with Lydia - bet he's not laughing now! And Lydia - my husband is a wood worker too and has built lots of the furniture I use in my stamping room/his work room/breakfast nook on the enclosed patio!
AND - WOOHOO . . . . my SSS kit arrived - loving the designer paper and the new stamp set! I'm making a card for my Adult Bible Class for a shut-in at church and one of the colors in the kit matches the color I'm using for the card! Oh my . . . . life is grand!

I showed my husband who is a carpenter who builds guitars in his spare time and he was very impressed with the Misti. Brilliant idea and very well made.

Lydia, my husband is a cabinetmaker/inventor and was also impressed with the craftsmanship of Misti - he commented on how everything is so perfectly aligned. Mine is one of Iliana's handmade Mistis, but I'm sure all the newer ones are made to her exacting standards!
Thanks, Iliana!
So funny to read these comments! I love my MISTI and feel like I use more of my previous purchases, but I have to admit that I want to order more stamps because of how they will work with my awesome MISTI! Enablers are us!
I want one too. LOL! On my wish list. Oh and my husband is a woodworker too only because I got him started. I also got him to make me an envelope today for one of my cards. Guess I will need to make room for his paper crafting now. LOL!

I was going to treat myself with a Misti when my income taxes were done, but it seems I owe :( very sad. It's only 8 cents but still means no money back. I will have to wait a bit longer. Wonder if a GoFund account to get me a Misti would take off lol

Maybe you could enter a card or video and "win a MISTI"

I haven't bought a stamp set in years. Now that I have the MISTI, I bought 6 sets this month. Like others it has renewed my love for stamping.
I am right there with ya! I moved about 4 years ago and I just sort of got out of stamping. I had been a SU hobby demo for almost 8 years, but I was just kind of burned out. I kept all my stuff, but I just wasn't into it anymore.
Then about a month ago my mama, who is also a fellow stamper/collector, sent me a video link with a message that I just had to watch this video... the video was for the MISTI.
Since when I guess you could say I have been making up for lost time (Just don't tell my hubby... he lets me have all the stamping stuff that I can hide...). I have been purchasing stamps and re-learning how to use all my tools (die cutting, embossing, etc).
I have also made Mother's Day cards, a set of sympathy cards, and a set of birthday cards -- all using the MISTI! I am in LOVE with this product. I am pulling out and using my 2-step stamps and I love how it turns out.
I must confess I would not have my MISTI if it was not for my husband. He ordered it for me for my birthday in April and the two weeks it took to get to the UK seemed very, very long - but it was worth the wait. I am now keen to pull out all the stamps I have boxed away because I was so useless at stamping. I bought the Altenew vintage roses stamp and I am definitely in love with this tool. I can't thank Iliana enough for what she has brought to us all

I am smiling ear to ear. Thank you for your kind words.
In a weak moment I agreed to make 25 thank you cards for a group. I dreaded starting the project. With die cutting, embossing, and multilayered stamping it took me two evenings to knock them out with my MISTI. It would have taken me a week without it and I probably would have thrown half of them out and started over. Also I have clear stamp sets that I had given up on because I just couldn't line them up well before the MISTI. This is such a game changer.
Yes, MISTI IS a blessing When I make the 80 cards for my adopted skilled care facility, I make at least 4 designs and the MISTI makes the the stamping part go sooooooooooo much more quickly. The with different color combinations of card and patterned paper, there are rarely 2 cards that are the same. I don't know if they compare their cards, but I feel good to know that they each got a special card.

They will know that the cards were made with love. I am sure they appreciate you sharing your gift.
I think it's very thoughtful to make the extra efforts to change up the cards a bit. Having paid a lot of visits to care homes I know the residents share and compare cards.
