A Hawaii visit would require me to fly...I gave that up when I flew back from Anchorage in May 1999...no more flying. If I can't get there driving, I don't need to go has become my motto. Lots of the USA continental that I have not seen.
The news says the airport (an hour north and east from me) has already had over 7 inches...I'm sure we have that much if not more! My husband drove into the metro this morning because we only had 1 inch of light fluffy snow...UHM...much more when he comes home!

At 3 AM I was thinking about this challenge...I really like the one color challenge but get hung up on which stamps I can use in my MISTI and then the image to use...
In my head I'm making some nice cards, in real life...well, I've made 2 as you can tell :p

I am late to the party - but the March challenge has not posted yet so I thought I would squeak in! I used my MISTI to stamp everything on this card. Oh you poor dear, MISTI Monday. I just got over it, and I still have a lingering cough. I'll pray you recover soon. It is not fun at all. So many stampers are sick right now. The flu season is hitting hard this year. Take care of yourself. REST!

I still have the sniffles and it’s weird but it’s still a bit chilly for Hawaii. Well can’t be a lil weird ..gosh Maui actually got snow !!! Yeps you all heard right Hawaii got snow . Not where I am but Another island and possibly the big island which is normal for them as well.
Ms Mysterious Misti Monday I sure hope and keeping you in prayer that you get to feeling better Soon as well as for anyone else that’s is under this weather. ..blessing and good luck all!!
I have heard the flu lasts a long time if you don't get meds quickly. My husband and I had the stomach bug the end of December and it took us a week to recover our strength...don't think there are meds for that...

Hope you all are feeling ok. We have our flu shots end May/June. It’s another hot one today. Yesterday it got over 40 in some suburbs here and there’s a bushfire raging near my golf course so I stayed home today...heat and smoke don’t fare well with my sinus. Happy day and sleep well everyone and I hope Misti Monday is going ok.

Here’s a lil funny to pick all of you up ...I recently asked for prayers because I lost my mind momentarily. And what caused me to lose it and gone crazy enquirer minds wanna know? I cleaned a corner of my craft space and moved my fav Misti to a safe spot. Sooo safe I couldn’t find it lol yeps Misti was being mysterious as our Mystery Monday Misti lol
That is too funny, Victoria! I was just checking in to make sure I have not missed anything. Hoping MISTI Monday recovers soon from the flu. I pray it has not hit her very hard. I had the flu shot and caught only a mild case, but I still felt like I was going to die! Ugh, I don't ever wish it on anyone. Get Well, MISTI Monday. We miss you.
FYI: I'll be leaving tomorrow morning to attend a memorial service for my son's father-in-law. I won't be back until Monday or Tuesday. Stay safe and healthy everyone.
Glad to see you are feeling a bit better too, Ann. And yes, I am loving my Mini Misti. It sits perfectly on my right hand side to just grab when needed. It is just the perfect size. I'll have to save up and maybe get the other sizes too.

I agree, Ladies! There is no better support group and fan club than the one we create here. Amazing that many of us have never met or even seen each other. Yet, we pray, empathize, and are here for each other no matter what. Now, that is friendship. And don't get me started on the sharing/giving of time, talent, and materials...
That flu was AWFUL. I was sick for 12 days! I finally started feeling like a human on Friday of last week. I was bedridden from Sunday thru Wednesday, fever, chills, sore throat, hit by truck feeling...was able to get to the couch Thursday...this is when I was able to get to the doctor. I tested positive for influenza A. I thought Friday I was potentially headed for pneumonia, but luckily it never got that far. BUT, I felt like my lungs were completely flat. Horrible cough.
by the time Friday came and I felt better, I just took it easy this past weekend and finally did laundry, cleaned my apartment and finally started eating. I lost 7 lbs. (Reporting that I've already gained 5 back...lol).
Thank you all for being patient!!!!! I'm going to go see who the winner is from this month's challenge and then post my new challenge card I just made tonight.
Thank you all for the kind words, well wishes and comments!!!! I hope you are ALL well and no one else is sick!!! I live by myself, so no family to infect. My children are grown, so they're all at college...
