Hi everyone! I hope you are doing well socially distancing. I hope all of you are healthy! I'm in an area of very low occurrences, we only have 23 cases in my county and no deaths, thank goodness.
This staying at home thing has really made me realize what good friends I have! In particular, I have two friends I love very much in my town. We all love a newer little café type coffee shop (one friend works there). While I talk to them on the phone, I really miss our time at the café enjoying coffee, a latte or a really good sandwich or pastry.
I made this card to send them, letting them know how much I miss them.
I used a stamp set by The Greetery, Cozy Cup, and created a little table scene. I used my mini MISTI to line up the many layers on the coffee cup, spoon and twig. I made about 10, 8 to keep on hand. I'm hoping eventually I can sell coffee themed cards in the café. They seem to be conducive to that idea.
This month's challenge, I'd like you to create a card for someone you cannot wait to see when it's finally okay to do that. I know we all want to see everyone we love, but I'm sure there are really special ones who would be first in line.

Thank you for the challenge!! I love this idea and you card is adorable with the coaster! I think your cards will sell very fast since they are so delightful!
I'm late to this party...maybe I've been social distancing from the stamp room!
I have an exciting person that I would like to meet some time after we are allowed to leave homes for social gatherings...
Earlier this year I did a DNA test...and I have a half-sister I didn't know about and a brother who is not a full brother...and a niece of a possible brother who died...
She is 58, I am almost 62 neither of us know how to be a sister but both of us know how to be a friend! A great place to begin any relationship...
She lives in Texas, I live in Minnesota...meeting half-way.

Here the card I made for my new younger sister! Will be so excited to send it to her in the mail. I do hope some day to get to meet here when the restrictions of our states are lifted.
In the little town where I live we have ZERO cases of COVID-19 currently. For that I'm thankful. The hospital here is still allowing me to donate my cards to the infusion bay area, for that I am also thankful.

Here's my card for this month, friendship! My friendship card is going to my granddaughter, who loves bugs and riding her bike! Can't wait to see her riding again with her grandfather down our subdivision road.
A card made with the ink smooshing technique on watercolour paper. I used my MISTI to triple stamp the sentiment and image, because of the texture on the paper. So helpful!
Hello everyone! I hope this message finds you all healthy and happy! I learned today that my area is remaining closed amongst a lot of areas in my state that get to start opening. We're very lucky where I live, we've only had 26 cases in my county with no deaths. Yet, we're to remain closed. I'm happy, though. I don't want to potentially spread anything. So I go home and go to work. That's pretty much it!
Thank you all for participating this month and I loved all your cards. It's such a highlight of my life, looking at what you create!
The randomly chosen winner for this month is akelly100 for her You're My Kind of Friend.
It's kind of fun, because you are all my kind of friend.
Congratulations! I'll be posting May's challenge on Monday!
Please have a great weekend! I hope your family and friends are all okay!

Playing belatedly just for the challenge catch-up!
This is a friendship card for an old friend, who is always so kind and forgiving. I missed sending her a birthday card, so thought I send this little gem instead!
