I would love to see what mixed media projects others are making.
Would you mind posting links to some items in your gallery or on your blog?
I really want to start a wet media art journal (I have a dry journal that I use for gluing in techniques I've tried and pictures of those I want to try). Eventually, I'd like to be able to use acrylic paint and maybe a bit of collage on a few canvases to hang in my bedroom--but I'm a long, long way from that.
I do a lot of mixed media. You're welcome to browse my gallery.
Yep! That's what I want to learn how to do! What a beautiful gallery you have.
I see that we have Prima doll stamps in common. I especially like the one with the sentiment that says, "I do not remember ordering a glass of your opinion." LOL

I'm a little slow this morning. Is the Friday Mixed Media challenge the same as the Mix-Ability challenge? If so, that's my next stop after I figure out what mixed media supplies (paper, etc.) I need to get started.

Yep, that's the one. You don't need a lot of supplies for mixed media, despite the vast variety shown on YouTube videos. Watercolor paper (which can be found in the children's craft section if you're on a budget), some acrylic paint, brushes, markers, a few background stamps, black stamp pad and some stencils should be enough to start. I don't journal, but that's up to you. I make cards and sometimes paint on canvas. I use very inexpensive supplies and try to keep my purchases to a limit based on the actual time I have to play.

I love Mixed Media and tend to mainly create cards at this time (I have attached a few cards that I have designed recently- also they are posted to my gallery with links to my blog for instructions- or you can search the index at the bottom of my blog under Mixed Media) .
The Mix-Ability Challenge is a fabulous weekly challenge to help you start with experimenting with different techniques- even though it is weekly, there is no deadline.
You can also search the Gallery for Mixed Media and you should be able to find quite a range of ideas :-)
Good luck with your new venture and hope to see some of your creations as well!
