Hello! Welcome to our mixed media challenge! If you are new, I'm glad to see you here. This is a place where you can dip your crafty fingers into mixed media without fear or special tools and supplies (by all means use them if you already have them). We started this challenge to make mixed media easy and approachable and it works for first-timer to experienced makers.
Feel free to use this challenge on any project; a greeting card, scrapbook page, 3-D project, or whatever you have on your work table.
Our new challenge is to Adorn Your Torn. Use torn edges on your project and bring attention to them with glitter, embossing powder, stitching, staining, etc. We want to see those rough edges!
One mention is mixed media is defined as using two or more mediums. if you aren't sure what that means head over to our "What is the Mix-Ability Challenge" thread and learn about media options.
Once you've created your project, upload a photo to your member gallery and add the keyword "MIX428" so we can see your project in the gallery!

Yes, it was a great challenge. I enjoyed thinking about it this morning, though I don't think my idea quite translated into paper. And I'll try for a better photo

Newbie here. This was hard...but fun. I’ve never done this mosaic technique but was intrigued and decided to give it a try. While I’m not thrilled with how it turned out, it did inspire and challenge me to try it again sometime.
