Challenge Title: Fresh Avocado Hostess: dini Keyword: MIX392 VIEW THE GALLERY FOR THIS CHALLENGE HERE
Forgive me... a meme.... no extra charge...
...and happy National Avocado Day to you!
For today's challenge, celebrate the humble avocado by using green on your card and including a brown circle in your design.
Remember, for your project to truly qualify as mixed media, you need to use at least 2 different types of art media. You can click HERE for a list of supplies you could choose from. Please remember to put in the correct keyword (MIX392) when uploading your image. Copying and pasting the challenge keyword is recommended to avoid typos. Then come back to this thread and paste a link to the card in your gallery so we can all ooh and ahhh! Go forth and create!
Anita, thank you! It was late in the day, but it felt good just to slap paint on paper, especially in those soothing colors. I think I will use those same colors on beads today.
A failed acrylic paint swiping piece, and a recent cling wrap with Brushos, along with Polychromos, give me my mediums. And there is a tiny punched brown circle. I'm reaching, I'm reaching, but I have limited stamping time at the moment.
I am playing Challenge cardmaking, and hopefully, doing some catching up. This is a belated January birthday card made in early February.
My card has green in the dsps for the avocado and brown-colored, large, circular pearls for my avocado seed brown circle. Mediums: Copic markers, dye-based stamping ink, pigment ink (edge distressing), computer ink---inside verse.
