Challenge Title : Use your credit card Hostess : Biggan (Birgit Edblom) Keyword : MIX22
Its my turn to be a hostess and I would love to see your
cards/projects! We hope you find these challenges inspiring and bring out
your creativity and I hope you find this challenge easy and FUN! The
things you need are:
Acrylic Paints any colours you like!
 Credit card
 Cardstock
Im sure you use your credit card a lot but today I challenge you to use an old one or any piece of flat plastic!
The technique involves using a plastic credit card as a paint scraping tool which allows you to scrape various colours of acrylic paint across your card stock to create unique color blends and textures. It is like being an artist without having to try too hard!
Just pour some acrylic, in colors you like, on your cardstock and use the credit card to create an artful background! It is so fun! You can also use the edge of the card to create lines and effects.
Uploading: Remember the keyword is without spaces. Use a comma between keywords with a space after each comma.
If you are new to the challenges, please feel free to do this one or ANY of the challenges at any time. There is no time limit. They are not races to see who can do one first, nor are they contests of any sort. All the challenges are simply to provide inspiration and to get us stamping!

How perfect! Just this week I took two out-of-date European Health Insurance cards and brought them upstairs thinking surely I could use them for something.
Hopefully I'll have the energy to try doing something this afternoon, and not just go to bed after work.
Gorgeous samples, too!!
Here's mine - getting a headstart on the acrylic meant that even though I did go to bed for a couple of hours after work, I still got it finished before dinner . MIX22 Mixed Medallion
After a very trying week, I finally managed to get this to 'go right' in the studio. I love playing with my credit cards! Fun challenge, Birgit!
For today's challenge I had to really improvise. Since I did not have any acrylic paint, or an old credit card ... I used fabric paint and a plastic knife.

Birgit, this challenge needs to come with a WARNING: This challenge is addictive! LOL!! Once I started adding some metallic and opalescent metallic paint I could not stop. I had to keep new combinations...what fun!
Here is my fave card. MIX22 Use Your Credit Card by Far North - Cards and Paper Crafts at Splitcoaststampers

I made this background the day the challenge was launched, made the card last Thursday, but only got to photograph it yesterday. I used a credit card to scrape acrylic paint on, then after it was dry, I dipped the edge of the credit card in paints and dabbed and swirled on the surface.
