Wahoo! We made it to another Friday! Let's celebrate by going to the beach. I love the beach - seashells, sand, beautiful waves, sometimes food wrapped in newspapers...and by the end of the season things get a little shabby. So here's your challenge: Use text and beach colors/images to create a project -- bonus if it's a shabby-chic project.

Remember, for your project to truly qualify as mixed media, you need to use at least 2 different types of art media. You can click HERE for a list of supplies you could choose from. If you want to start these challenges in the pages of an art journal instead of a card, or on scrapbook pages, or on 3D items - please know - ANYTHING is welcome! We want you to learn and enjoy!

Please remember to put in the correct keyword (MIX174) when uploading your image. Copying and pasting the challenge keyword is recommended to avoid typos. Then come back to this thread and paste a link to the card in your gallery so we can all ooh and ahhh! Go forth and create!

Thanks for the early post, Ky, I'm in a time crunch this weekend and it helps to have time to ponder this whilst at work and jump straight into making when I get home... I hope. I just made a card a couple of weeks ago that would have been perfect ;-), although maybe Scrabble tile stickers aren't quite text.
