Default Washi tape organizer

I had my washi tape stored in a Stampnstorage washi tape holder. I have many of their products and I like them. They are well made. The tape looked beautiful in rainbow order, however the holder didn’t work for me. I like taking rolls to my card and auditioning. I pull it off the roll and hold it over my project. The rolls were too much work to get back in place and ended up laying on top or in front of the holder. I know how I operate; I need a quick put away for my storage.
I was in The Container Store yesterday and found this storage unit made by Deflecto. It’s fabulous! Im attaching photos. I was so excited I haven’t even arranged them by color yet.
For some reason I can’t post a picture without it being huge, so here is the link:

Oooh, this is great. I’ve been cramming all my washi into a spare mason jar, but this makes it so much easier to see everything at a glance. Thanks for sharing.

That's what I am using! I have two of them and then a large plastic box for Christmas and any duplicates. I love it.

Like you, I like to pull my rolls out and hold it over my project to get just the look I want. Does this washi tape holder have rods that you thread the roll through, or do they just sit in the container? Those washi tape holders (and ribbon spool holders) that require threading the spool on and off a rod never work for me. I store my washi tape in a large shoebox where I can rummage through it all and make a mess! This looks much nicer though, and is probably easier to find what you need.

I have one of these units, and no they do not have a rod. I got mine at Michaels. Works great for washis tapes.

Thanks for the info. I love that you can just pull out each roll without unthreading it first.

Default Ikea to the rescue!

I found the Ikea Picture Ledges as a wonderful way to store my spools of ribbon AND Washi Tape.

I used a block of wood to measure the distance between the shelves.

Ikea Picture ledge idea for ribbon & Washi Tape.
