How do you store them? I mostly have SU sets in clamshells which is great. But I've got a fair amount of singles that are dumped in a drawer. Ideas? They're ll wood mounted if that helps.

I have my wood mounted singles in a drawer as well. Because of that they don't get much love. I have mostly clear stamps so I think that's why- I forget to look in the drawer!
stu -- I use those same frames. I have mine in a paper tower that I never liked for paper because the corners would get caught and bent. I love this system because everything is well visible.
I store my singles in SU! clamshells. I make up my own themed 'sets'. I like the fact they are stored in smaller chunks of fewer stamps, instead of a larger box with up to 50 in them.
I like the clamshells for storing all sorts of crafty things. One for twine, one for tags, another for die cuts, one for mini misters, etc. I then store a stack of clamshells on their sides in a storage basket, so I can see at a glance what is in each one.
I also use the clear plastic shadow box frames for single stamps. I can layer the boxes on top of one another. I have a "tower" made of those wire storage cubes and one cubicle/cubby is reserved for my trays of wooden stamps.
Some people also unmount their wood block stamps. Remove the rubber from the block, and replace the cushion with some "cling cushion". I found it to be sort of messy and difficult but I've done it with a few of mine.

I have mine in an old printer's box hung on the wall. Remember those? Years ago I had it filled with teeny, tiny, primitive/country things like a set of tiny enamel dishes, etc. I had it in a pile for the thrift shop when someone here posted they were using a printer's box.
I thought, "Oh my gosh, did I get rid of mine?" Luckily I hadn't. Mine are almost all Studio G with the pretty colored sticker on top, so they are pretty to display. I have a whole punch of others like Penny Black, Amuse, etc. in another re-purposed box but it's hard to explain. I LOVE to re-purpose!

a printer's box? erm uhm what's that? can you post a picture?
*sigh* single stamps I have TOO many I had started unmounting them but UGH too hard to be honest some just are way too stuck on the wood to be bothered with, THEN because they aren't in a set I've put the unmounted ones in a clam shell and titled the category, now this may sound great but the drawback is that since there is no index on the top its hard to remember what each stamp looks like .. so no more unmounting those!!
And I have TOO many of those $1 clear stamps and those are in a binder inserted in trading card sheets, I am considering just getting rid of some if not most of those I dont think I have ever inked one! But when I first saw them I just "HAD" to have them.. now ? pfffffft I want more room in my room so they just may have to go bye bye
my seasonal stamps, fall, winter, easter, graduation, go into separate storage bins; as I don't use them year around. My husband built a behind the door narrow shelving that this brilliant women built herself, no name given though: Scraproom: stamp storage
It works great for out of the way storage.
I have a printers box also, but, they are hard to find and spendy

I store mine single woodmounted ones in white photo boxes that I got from Michael's. They are sorted by theme and this way they stack nicely and stay neat.
I've also seen them stored in a large glass cannister, I might do that when our home is done.
Just a word to the wise on this. I tried it and it is very hard to dig around for the one you want to use. And because they were all singles, the ones in the middle could not be seen, so I never rememberd which ones I had. Plus it is was super heavy.
I ended up putting them in stufftainers by category and love it.
I don't have many single stamps so for now they are in a glass jar displayed on my shelves but when I get more (and who doesn't) I plan to purchase a large clear cookie jar that Wallmart sells, it was only $10.00 and I already have one for my Odds and ends of Ribbon.
I use the plastic pencil/art supply boxes that you can get at the dollar store or walmart during Back to School time with the different colored hinged lids. I have them by category like "stamped by", or Misc Flowers, or Misc phrases, or Patriotic, Winnie the Pooh, etc etc etc. They stack nicely on my shelf and then I put a small paper label on the inside end of each box for clarity's sake (just a small piece of scrap paper really). It's much better then my former method of plastic sandwich baggies for each category piled in a basket... lol
I store my wood mounted stamps in the plastic photo frames also. I use the 11x 14 size. I keep my eyes out at Goodwill for them. I paid .99 each.I have them in the cubes made for paper. I then got plastic envelopes at the dollar store for my acrylic stamps. I group them by theme. I use baseball card pocket protectors for the $1 stamps. I also had some other size photo protectors for some of my other stamps. I can stand 3 of the tall sets of stamps in front and then put a baseball card protector behind that. I group the themes together in one envelope. I can lay one of those envelopes on the plastic photo frame. I do need to make an index of all the stamps I have and where I woukd find them ( ie plastic tray or base or envelope and the catagory like words or birthday ect. I'm still in the process of organizing my scrapbook room. I do have a couple Just rite stamps that came in a nice box so I'm going to keep all of them together in that box for now. I also have a few large staps and SU sets that in a box.
My wood mounted single stamps are stored by company/manufaturer in ArtBin containers and then placed in ArtBin cubes. The larger containers are 14 x 14 and 3" deep and allows me to stand most of my larger stamps up. The smaller containers are 14 x 14 and 2" deep and stores my smaller stamps.
I mostly use acrylics (stored in CD cases) and digital stamps now but the few wood stamps I use are within site on a shelf designed by FIL and DH. I have a drawer filled with wood mounted stamps that I seldom use and hate to part with but those I like the most have a place of honor on my stamp wall.
