Currently have all the SU markers and will be getting all the new ones. The ones I have are in individual cases since I ordered them over time by color family. Tell me how you store your SU Markers. I want them close at hand and getting tired of getting them out of their individual case and putting them back....LOL
Hi, Suzi! Currently I have my markers in a large acrylic Copic marker box. (It's HUMONGOUS) I keep the different types of markers segregated (alcohol, dye, pigment/permanent) but otherwise group them by color rather than family. It's just easier when I have the blues together, the reds together, etc. Not saying I'll always do this, but I'm trying this for now. So far so good, I guess.
I have the SU marker case, and I just replaced all my retiring colors with the new ones. I put my old ones in dvd cases. They fit perfectly, lay flat (keeps the ink from pooling), and take up very little space.
The DVD cases sold by SU (that hold the clear mount stamps) fit 10 markers nicely and they can be easily kept on their side as intended. You can fit a color family per box and it doesn't take up much room.
Here's a link from the main Stampin' Up! online store that shows the cases (conveniently in a 4 pack). Just remember if you have a demo, find out if he/she has a demo website so you can get the best pricing & shipping cost (order directly through your demo's website instead of the main website).
Well I have the SU! marker case as when I bought them they didn't offer them by family only individual or as a huge set. But I have been using a marker display thing from a store that went out of business that sits on the edge of my desk. keeps them handy. I don't have it bookmarked since I didn't need them but I know several places have been selling copic storage shelves that would work for you. HTH Andrea
I bought mine by color family, so no big case for me. I have a sterlite 3 drawer storage thing on my desk and they are all in that, loose. Works great for me and I have no trouble picking out the colors that I want to use.

Forgot to add, the marker box sits on my desktop.
Do you have the Copic Caio Box? I found these boxes online and want to make sure my SU markers fit before ordering one.
I just ordered 2 of the Close To My Heart marker storage towers and plan on putting all my markers and pens in there. I will store mine by SU markers and in ROYGBIV order, but I will have enough space to put in my Copics and white gel pens, etc. They should be here early this week, so I will repost to tell you how I like them!
Back to report that I love my CTMH marker towers! I have all my SU markers in them, I have my pitiful few collection of Copic Ciao markers and I even have my SU colored pencils, a set of SpectraColor coloring pencils I have had since high school and I even put my white gel pens, blender pens, and SU journaling markers in my towers.

I have Copic marker boxes and tried putting the SU markers in it. The SU markers are about an inch longer so I would say they don't fit. When you put the lid on, it is an inch away from fitting.

Does the lid fit with your SU markers? I saw these that hold 72 markers and it looks perfect, but someone told me our markers don't fit??????? I hope they do because this will solve my dilemma completely
I bought a CTMH marker tower, and I love it! In fact, I'm going to buy another one because I'm running out of room! It holds SU markers and CTMH markers just fine.

That's alot of markers! I think I need a couple too.
I'm on a mailing list, and this one gal designed a sleeve to fit into the SU DVD cases for the different color families. I will ask her permission, and if she says yes, I will post those templates here after I hear back from her.
I bought a plastic case for my markers that fit 48 markers and it has a handle on the top. I love it for my SU markers. I need another one, but I can't remember for the life of me which site I bought it in.
Does anybody know which site sells the box above empty? I bought one a couple of years ago and can't seem to find where I bought it. Works great for my markers.
After carefully considering all the suggestions here I decided to order the CTMH Marker Tower and love it!!! After I get the new markers I just ordered from SU I will have ONE slot left....LOL Works great and only takes up 2 1/2 inches of space on my table.
Thank you all for your wonderful suggestons. Suzie
I use the empty Crystal Light containers. I cover with paper, use sticky strip to keep them together and lay them on their side to store my markers horizontally. The markers stick out about 1/2 in which is perfect.
If you are converting your wood mounted stamps to clear mount stamps you will find that you have a lot of the plastic cases the wood mounted stamps come in.
Well, you can use those cases for your markers, since they are about 1" deep you can get three layers of markers in the box. However, you will have to use the plastic cases that are at least 8" x 5.25" in order to fit the markers without distorting the case.
Hope that helps.
Studio 3 Solutions has an awesome and beautiful marker holder. I have 5 of them and love them. They are very inexpensive and well built.
I've got 4 of them for my copics and I love them!!! I am not sure if they ship to Canada, but for me - I had them shipped to a town close to the Canada / US border and picked them up. Shipping even within the US was kind of pricey - about 30 -35.00 for shipping for the 4 shelves.
I just got finished making a holder for all of my SU markers. Was really easy to put together and only cost me about $14 and holds 200 markers although you could make it as big as you like. I am very happy with the way it turned out.:p
I used 1/2 inch PVC Electrical Conduit. I cut it all up into 3 inch pieces with a chop saw and glued them all together. Then I built a box out of foam core board just to have a back for markers to hit so they didn't go all the way through. I used foam core cause it was cheap and easy for me to work with and the marker storage just sits right beside my table on a shelf at arms reach so it dosen't need to be moved much. I was able to put all my pens pencils and markers (gelly roll, SU, painters and sharpie) in it. I was going to use copper pipe but it was more expensive, but with the walls of the copper pipe bieng thiner than pvc pipe it would take up less space. The one that I made holds 200+ and stis aprox 12 inches high 9 inches wide and 6 inches deep. I really like it.
A couple of weeks ago i bought on clearance at JoAnns a set of 24 Craft Essentials markers which were orginally $34.99 for $3.97. The case is like stampin up one but holds 24 I was so excited to just have the case and will give the markers to a friend of something.
If you want to get all the new Marker colors from Stampin' UP with the case, I might have what you need.
I am starting a Markers Club and I need 5 people to be in it. This is how it works:

If you want easy access to your markers... this is what I like... the SU DVD clear cases... you can organize your markers in the color groups of 10 in each case and I have my in colors and retired colors as well as my blender pens, aqua painters, etc in these cases... let me show you here... I have this storage tower from JoAnn's... I can fit 5 cases (yes! all my current )colors plus some in one skinny drawer.
Another benefit is... I use the case covers as a painting pallette when I need to water color.. just take the marker you need... scribble on the cover and use your blender pen or aqua painter to pick up the color... then, when you are done.. just wipe clean... yeah! I don't need another dish using up my space.. woo hoo!
I keep my Copic markers in a Copic marker case. However, I too have all the Stampin Up markers since I am a demonstrator. I started using pencil cases and marking in black sharpie marker on the top the color family. Then I cut the color families out of the catalog and laminated them and put each color family in the top of the pencil case so I know what colors go where.
I ordered two of these after reading about on this board. I love them! The cubbies were $16.95 each and shipping for two was about the same for one so went with two - $13.76.
I have a wooden rack that spins that holds my SU ink page, reinker and marker right next to each other. The rack holds 12 per side and spins ! I love it!
