Default Rolling Storage Cart`

I am disabled and usually have to craft from my bed. That means all my supplies are in my bedroom and it is seriously getting out of hand. So, I am looking for a vertically stacked rolling cart with a lot of drawers, including some that are large enough to put 12" x 12" paper in.

I've searched and searched, and have found quite a few carts in different configurations, but very few have 12" x 12"+ drawers, and of those that I've found that do, they get mediocre reviews.

I'm sure this product is out there, and I'm just not finding it. So, do any of you use an item as I described above, and if so, would you please tell me where you purchased it?

Thanks so much!

I'm not sure if this is what you are looking for, but this company seems to have several options on their website.

Venture Horizon Portable Sewing and Craft Tables

I've been wanting some of their pieces for stamp storage.

I have three that I got at Sam's Club. They were $30 each. They hold all my 12 x 12 paper (each cart has ten drawers) but I find if I move the carts much, I have to tighten all the hexnuts because they get wobbly (hard to explain) I currently have them in what I hope will be their permanent spot so that should end all the wrenching. I have seen similar carts at Hobbly Lobby for $80 each. Of course, you could use your 40% off coupons.....
Hope that helps!

My friends have bought paper organizers and supplies organizers from local craft stores that have gone out of business, priced very inexpensively, and in excellent condition. All of the organizers have very strong wheels for easy mobility.

Thank you Denise for sharing the web site above. WOW I even enjoyed the additional folders with tip and layouts. Very interesting and helpful. Happy crafting Lolita

I have three of these: Sterilite 7-Drawer Craft Cart Musings of a Muse

I got them at Target three or four years ago. I don't see them on the Target site now. They are made my Sterilite. Each drawer will hold 12x12 paper and has a lid (good for taking things on the go, bad if you want to just reach in and grab something). They are quite sturdy IF you don't try to set something on top of them.

Default Rolling carts

Hello! I was looking through the winter 2012 paper wishes catalog and they have a Iris storage cart with drawers (actually cases that are removable) that have a snap top lid. This will hold 12X12 paper. The measurements are:

16-3/16 W

14-7/8 L

X

24-3/4 H

The very top looks like it has small compartments to put things in/on.

It is on pg. 38

Scrapbooking supplies from PaperWishes.com | Free Catalog | Scrapbook supplies | Scrapbook paper | Scrapbooking paper | Discount scrapbook supplies | Paperwishes Scrabooking Supplies | Paper Wishes Scrapbook Supplies

also pages 17 & 25 have carts !

Hope this helps, & good luck!

$599.00...are they serious? That is outrageous....two Stackable 9-Cube Organizers cost $80.00 for the pair...one piece of MDF sanded, painted and mounted on top...moulding to finish off the edges if one wishes...just around $100.00. That leaves $499.00 for buying craft supplies...no brainer!

Iris Scrapbooking carts are on sale at Joann's right now:
Iris Scrapbooking Cart : paper organizers : scrapbook storage : storage : Shop | Joann.com
I'm pretty sure you can stack these too. They've been that way at the store.

I am looking for one that fits under the long card table in my craft room. I would REALLY like one low enough to put my big shot on... but that would have to be about 20 inches high as the area is 27 inches tall.

thanks for any tips,
Anne

I have this one from Joann that I used a 40% off coupon on Organizing Essentials Craft Cart*: sewing rolling organizers*: sewing & quilting storage*: storage*: *Shop | Joann.com

The bottom 3 drawers snap closed, the top two are compartmentalized (I store lots of embellishments in those), and the rest are shallow open trays.

And I craft from my bed too. Not because I'm stuck in it, but because I have no extra flat space to craft from.

At one time I was at a SALLY'S Beauty Supply store and they had the rolling carts the hair dressers use for their supplies on sale. (They were about $125) They were very sturdy construction and thought that if I had the room I would get it for my punches. I never did....They also had a rack to hold nail polishes. They sold it complete with the nail colors...I obviously did not want the nail colors...but I did want the rack to hold stamp or small jars of embellies on the wall.

BTW...I was in that store, to begin with, looking for fine mist sprayers to make my own glimmer-y mists. I found perfect mini misters (actually they had all sizes)

HHHMMMM...sounds like I might need to go back and check them out again since it has been about 5yrs since I was last there.

I have 2 sets of these for my papers and I LOVE THEM! I don't have the wheels on them since my floor is carpeted but I saved them just in case!

You might check out Ikea for their Antonius Storage system . The smallest holds 4 wire grid baskets large enough to hold 12x12 ( just bought the larger one with 6 baskets). It has castors and you can purchase the top for an extra $7. You can add other units on top of it if you want to. I got the one that holds 6 wire baskets and two plastic inserts for smaller items made for this system, and the top for under $40.00 The best thing is its not plastic and it is good and sturdy and I dont have to worry about weight in the metal baskets. My room is carpeted and no problem rolling it either.
