Hi, I used to have an app on my phone that kept track of all the distress inks I owned. I went to check it while out shopping and it was gone! Does anyone have an app they use? Helps me to not buy duplicates. I know ranger has a new program but it seems like it only for computers. Thanks in advance!
I don’t have an app specifically for my supplies, but I use Airtable for all my supplies. I signed up this year to become an SU! demo, so I really needed to keep track of what I have. It’s a free app and I really love it. I can sort my supplies any way I wish, depending on how I set up each record. It’s super easy to use, which was important to me because I am NOT very tech-y
I use the Color My Life app to keep track of supplies. They have Distress Inks in their catalog, so all you need to do is point your camera at the bar code on the ink or search it’s name and all the info + photo will fill in automatically. It’s been great to keep track of my Distress Inks, Copics and stamp sets.
Make sure you keep a copy somewhere else - even a printout or just the file on a backup drive. I kept notes on an annual meeting I assisted with so only referred back it one time a year. Evernote had lost all of my files. 🤦🏼♀️
I use ColorNote. I can sync it between devices, including my Kindle Fire. Finding apps that work on Kindle as well as "normal" android devices can be challenging.
As I have shared using One Note before. Keeping track of my supplies is a breeze. It is very easy to use on my phone, Kindle and laptop. It automatically backs everything up in the cloud. You can list products and photos too, even draw on it. The best part is the search option. I don't even need to remember where I file things, just type in the product and it finds it. This has saved me from buying multiple products many times and it is free!
I use Airtable for all my supplies. It can also be used to inventory your house for insurance. Lydia Fiedler (Understand Blue) has a very helpful tutorial on how to use it.
I use Evernote and pay for the premium version. I love that I can use my phone or tablet to look up what I have purchased --inks, paper colors, stamps, dies, stencils, etc, so I don't double-buy an item. I also like that I can put in a key word and find all the stamps, dies, stencils with that word. Have never had a problem.
I keep my list of stamps and dies on Pinterest. Could do for inks.
Also, to keep it simple, just take a picture - group by color. Or if you make a color chart, take a picture of that.
If you have an iPhone, you can use ScrapOrganizer for almost all your supplies. Be sure to save it to the cloud for backup. I've been using it for years and works great for me.

Reason: The app is no longer offered by Apple! Anyone who has it now will lose it when purchasing a new iPhone!
Another Airtable user here, thanks to Lydia! I absolutely love it.
ETA: Airtable is online so no need to worry about losing your info. Plus when I update on my laptop, it automatically syncs with my phone and iPad.
