Talking it pays to organize!

I finally sat down and sorted through my monstrous bin of scraps...seriously, it must have been 8-10 months since I did...
Aside from havibg a nice full file drawer sorted ino color groupings now...I found no less than 40... Yes 40 CARD BASES. Most of which were even scored already!!!

Now instead of scrambling if I need a card in a pinch for a while, I have a pile to choose from to get me started!

Hoorah. Yay me.

I cleaned up my area and was so happy for awhile. Now it is so neat I put stuff away and forget where they are. I cannot find my oval nesties at the moment.

Totally awesome, I have a huge bin of scraps I need to sort. Did you have a MISC catagory for stuff that had so much color/pattern you couldn't otherwise catagorize it?

GOOD FOR YOU! Yeah!!! This is totally awesome!

Yes, I have a drawer that I put only half sheets and quarter sheets into. It helps A LOT.

I do this too, I cut several extra bases when I'm working on a project, score them too and then put them in a basket by my desk so that I too can just pull one when I'm needing one. It saves a few minutes so I can look longer at the DP that I'm wanting to use!

I keep SU only in file folders in two drawers...one for full sheets one for scraps. Each folder is "blues" "greens" etc
Any SU dsp went into 2 piles, current and non

All else is in a big iris cart type drawer. I really don't have much solid that is not SU so that part is easy. I have someone coming over to play this week and am so happy that it will be easier to find everything.

I keep my scraps in a little box and use them all the time. When I organized then the first time it was a huge discovery too.
