I thought I'd share my method of organizing and labeling my cardstock! It's been working great for me, so I hope this gives you some ideas for your own cardstock!
I have a detailed run-down of how I did it on my blog post HERE
I purchased the plastic bin from an office supply store--I'm not sure if it was Office Depot or Office Max. It came with a lid as well, I just don't use it for ease of access to my cardstock!
Great Storage! I tried the hanging folders, but just didn't care for them! Mine kept getting dog-eared....
This is a pic of the cabinet that my FIL made me for my 8.5x11 SU paper...I gave him the dimensions, number of slots, etc and he had it built in just a few hours! LOVE IT!!
And this is how I store my 12x12 paper and scraps (I have separate holders for each SU color family and separate holders for each color --non SU)! I wish I had enough room for a 12x12 storage system like my 8.5x11!!

You are a lucky stamper and what a nice FIL!! Looks great, tfs!

Nicki - That's the same thing that I do. I just put the scraps in front of the other card stock in the same folder. Between Bazzill and SU I have 3 of these on my closet shelf. I'm surprised the whole shelf hasn't fallen off the wall from the weight! My labels aren't as cute as yours. I just hand wrote the card stock name on a piece of the actual card stock and slipped it into the clear tabs. Like you I want to see the actual color - not just the name.

Sarah, I love your system. I'm not a fan of the hanging file system either and since I also scrapbook, I'm concerned that those hanging folders are not acid free. I love that everything of yours is compact since I don't have an entire room for all my stuff, but I sure have enough stuff to fill a whole room at the very least. I use the CH paper holders too.

THANKS! I tried several different systems, and really love this one!! Very efficient! The only thing I would do differently is put doors on everything to keep the sunlight out! When I win the lottery, and get a WHOLE FLOOR to devote to my studio, I'll be sure to remember that....LOL!
