Picture if you will, a two story house with the craft room on the second floor and the only available work surface on the first floor.
The room where I keep all my stuff doubles as an extra sleeping area for when I need more than 2 guest rooms. So far, my grand-daughters haven't gotten up during the night and stamped the walls or used my Big Shot to make "things" out of their pj's.....
My craft room is a work in progress - it's a small room and because of the door and window placement it's been a challenge to fit everything in.
I've been working on getting everything together and some new cabinets have helped.
The biggest problem right now is the large futon that takes up one wall.
There's no space to fit in a table, so to work on anything, I have to
haul everything I need down to my
dining room. It's hard to get everything I need at one time and I make a lot of trips back and forth. I like to use ONE stamp out of this set, another from THAT set, 4 inches of this ribbon from one of 3 ribbon keepers, and, oh, yeah, is
that paper I want in one of the creative memories paper keepers, the hanging file box, or the expandafile? Hmm. I end up making a dozen trips. By the time I get everything I need, I may be out of time or inclination.
Soon, I want to move the futon out of the room and a work table moved in.
