[B][FONT="Comic Sans MS"][COLOR="DarkOrchid"]Took a while to get it to a point I could/would take pictures, but finally got there. I still need to do something with a stack of boxes that have no home and I need my DH to hang a mirror over my sewing machine, but for the most part I'm finished re-vamping what was my sewing room and turning it into a craft room.

Reason: SCS provides a special gallery, "Stampin' Spaces" for all of your sweet stampin' room pics! Please do share there. Thanks!
I love it!! Please don't apologize because it is not a "magazine craft room" Mine isn't either and I just love my little space. You have so much space and have organized it so nicely. Have fun in there.
I laughed out loud when I saw your counter tops in your craft room. I have that same exact style of fake wood laminate (or whatever they call it) in my kitchen. I estimate it is the original stuff put in sometime in the 1960s or early 1970s. I hate it every time I look at it but certainly is durable and you can't kill it. Mine has seen a lot of abuse with no resulting damage. I only hate it because it is old and outdated and I want new and fresh. Anyway, now I can see another use for it someday in my crafting area should I ever get enough $$$$ to upgrade my kitchen. Thanks for the inspiration!!! And it is an awesome crafting room!
Well, someone removed my blog link from the first post and said use the gallery. I have the pictures in the gallery already, but I can't really tell the story of how the room progressed in the gallery so I added this thread to take people to my blog post to read the details.
Looks great! Envious of all the space you have. Great ideas for storage and love all the furniture placement. I actually like that your room doesn't look like a magazine's room; your room looks cozy and inviting. I also like your designated areas for sewing, crafting etc...

I believe it was moved to Stampin Spaces. I always have a hard time finding that area here on SCS. I can never remember the exact wording and when I use variations the gallery doesn't come up!
