Smile imamess. A place for everything

My Mums' words always come to mind as I look at my office/craft room
"A Place for everything and everything in it's place"

Boy I keep trying but I am not suceeding very well. I have little cubes, I have some Ikea shelves, I have a desk with drawers that replaced my BIG long table. Still things do not have their place where they can be found.

It is very unproductive when you spend more time trying to find something rather than creating.

When I looked at the workbox "WOW" what a beautiful looking piece of furniture it would look right at home in my formal sitting room. To be able to have such a lovely piece of furniture and be able to open it and have the most ingenious storage solution that will be the ENVY of ALL your fellow crafters would be truly fantastic. I know my husband would even be thrilled to finally see my @#*#& room look amazing with such a wonderful storage solution.

How creative and productive I could be in a very classy looking environment which would of course further enhance my mood and creativity. Mmmm, I am in a daydream now!

I, too, am familiar with that quote - and have often thought I should take it to heart more myself!

I remember reading a book about 101 ways to declutter your life and one of the chapters talked about how if you're always spending time trying to clean up the area you're working in, you'll never really get around to working. I know that to be true from experience!

Good luck to you!
