Thanks girls. I think I'm about in the middle of Ontario and S. Carolina - come on down (and up!) The rubber room is even equipped with a fridge and lots of room in the other half for sleeping bags
Hey - guess what - I just got my braces off 1 week ago! Good luck! Love your room, too!
Your stamp room is really nice! Are the black/clear drawers iris carts? Does the countertop have some other support or does it rest on the plastic drawers?
How many Jetmax storage thingies did you need to make the U shaped area?

Thanks, I love my room ... Yes the drawers are iris carts and the counter sits on top. I want to mount it to the wall but I just haven't had the time. This picture givs you a view of the insides of the cubes and this one shows what is inside the iris carts
There are 14 cubes - eventualy I'm going to join them all together so they sit even but I'm holding off becuase long term dream is to remove the carpet and put in a wood floor.
When or if you have an interst, a lot of the photos in my stamproom gallery explain where I got things and how I store my treats.
Oh, my goodness...we need a central place to meet, then a travel guide to take us on a tour of Fabulous Stamping Places! But make it in the summer...for the teachers among us, lol! What fun to see these wonderrul spaces.
Thanks Amber. I love it. I am so much more creative when I am not surrounded by chaos, which in my household is difficult at best. My hubby teases me because I put everything away as soon as I am done but I do make a mess while I am in the midst of a project.

It's so fun to see everyone's rooms! I have some new ideas (dh is gonna groan at me) for my space again!
We had a sewer back up in our house last year (May 0 and my studio was one of the rooms that had to be emptied out and refloored, etc. I did a "mini overhaul" - new paint, new curtains, new decor, new wood floors, a new InkStak, and a big clean up and dejunking of the space.
My space is approximately 17 feet long by about 8 or 9 or so feet wide and is also the walk through hallway area that you have to pass through at the bottom of my stairs to get to the rest of the basement (laundry, family room, guest room, etc.) so I was unable to do some fun things I wanted to do with the space like an island workstation, etc. BUT... it works for me
I posted a multi part tour on my blog, but here are the posts from the Reveal process.
SJh2oski - THank you! I keep telling DH he needs to add them to our store (stamperstorage.com) but he keeps hesitating... I love them, too!
If he does that, would you please send me a pm??!!! I have mine in Jet Max drawers now but you have to put them in 2 rows as they are just a little short to put them like yours are.
Thanks in advanc!!
The room looks great! Is all your furniture black? I keep trying to decide what colors of furniture to aim for in my room, have several wood color pieces, and a black kitchen island type piece, as well as lots of white iris carts, and can't decide if I should try to go with one color or just let it be all mixed up.
The glass table looks nice, and sounds like it works well too.
Here is my craft room! I love seeing everyones photos. I need to add a color to mine but since it is right off my living room I don't want anything that doesn't match the rest of the house. Right now it is a mess with all my Christmas projects!

Yes, all the furniture is either a very dark ebony wood color or its black. I was going to do all white in the begining but the table is the one peice that I was starting with and that helped me make my decision about what colors to run with. You can't really see it from the pics but the glass top has decore element flourishes on the underside. Thanks for taking a look!

If you can be patient...you can buy the cubes with your Michael's 40% off coupon one at a time and sometimes they offer 50% and 55% off with most holidays and not just Christmas.
ok Stacy you win with the punches LOL I have never seen so many. I may have more ribbon though.
I need to unmount my stamps also. I don't have room for all I have.
too funny! I had to re-do my rails after the last releases - had to put the seasonal Halloween ones in containers. I need to redo a video maybe in Jan sometime as I also finally organized my closet.
Thanks! It is the sunroom in the front of our home. I live in the country so we have lots of window on our home so we can see all the trees! The light is great until the evening and then I have about 4 lamps in there. My husband complains because he says I use more power in that one room for an our than out entire house for the day! ha ha We are off-grid so we run off solar power :-)
OK so i am offically the most flabergasted at the amount of stunning craft spaces, i'm also extreamly jelious.. you lucky lucky people.. i think i need to move to the states.. you just cant find reasonablly priced storage here in the UK.. or at least i can't...
Here is my ickle crammed space ;p
sorry the pics are so big! And also its a bit more crammed now and alot more messy lol
This is my space...I only get two walls in a corner of the family room, so I have a few things put away that I would have preferred be out on shelving. There just is no more wall space for me...the other side (across from the counter) is all doors to the upstairs, bathroom, laundry, and closet...and the other end is the TV area. The counter top is 12' long...and the dining table in the center doubles as work space, or extra dining for kids or game space when company is over.
It works for me though...and I like being in the main family room instead of locked away from everyone.

You ladies are so creative in your craft rooms. I'm working on getting mine set up so decided I'd follow this thread, if you don't mind, to get more ideas.

I finally got mine somewhat organized. Still needs some "tweeking" though. At least I can get in there now and create a little. Just have to find the time!!!
I use cubes by Scrap 'n Cube. I have had them for years, and they still look brand new. Worth every penny! You can see my small room tour in these links:
Thanks so much for all the photos and inspiration ladies! I am just getting started with my room makeover, and I am so excited with all the ideas!! My budget is very sad, and my space is a loft, so no walls makes things a little challenging, but I am so excited to get the ball rolling. We moved in a year ago, and I have been dealing with Rheumatoid arthritis and Fibromyalgia both diagnosed this year...am finally feeling human and well enough to start scrapping so I need my stuff organized RIGHT NOW!
I bought 16 jetmax cubes (all that michael's had) at 50% off yesterday to get started with, and am in the process of unmounting my stamps so that I can save all that space for other things! WOO HOO---I may get scrappin and stampin again soon!
Hey Ladies...for those who have their punches on the rails on the wall...what did you use to do that? I currently have mine on a bookshelf thing but I am getting too many and need another way to store them...I have PLENTY of wall space! Thanks!

I use Bygel rods from Ikea. DH mounted them to the wall using a combo of screws into the studs and drywall anchors with screws. They hold plenty tight.
this has all been great inspiration, as well as the gallery space devoted to stamping spaces. I currently have every bit of my craft room packed away, the desk dismantled and the floor to ceiling shelves that held my many, many stamp sets were reclaimed by my sister. So I have an empty room :( it doesn't get any sadder than seeing me sit in the middle of the floor sighing deeply LOL! The good news is, the dinosaurs playing baseball on the wall paper border from the nursery days is finally removed and it is all freshly painted a lovely buttercream. So very soon I will start fulfilling my dream.
I want the shelves from ikea that are square cubbies on one wall for my stamps, I want a formica counter at counter height and 10 feet long on the other wall, I want cabinets over it and work lights under the cabinets, and I want the desk from ikea that can be raised like a drafting table and has a light table in it as my work table.
I know I can get the shelves now. the rest will have to come in dribs and drabs.
dreams dreams.
What i truly want is my stuff out of boxes and in my hands again.
Oh and what I regret most is not taking before pictures.
