I have a heavy-duty two drawer file cabinet that sits right beside my stamp table. It is longer than some of the "lighter" two drawer file cabinets--the same depth as most four drawer ones. I use hanging files and arrange them by the SU families--neutrals in front--then the next three color families and in the back are the current sets of in-colors. The bottom drawer has retired SU colors along with Gina K and PTI cardstock. I bought a set of tabs from eBay that has the name of the color printed on a piece of same color cardstock and then I have them in one of the clear tabs on the top.

I have one of the 6 drawer Iris carts that hold scraps--one color family in each drawer--reds/pinks, yellow/orange, black/brown, white/ivory, greens and blues/purples. I have to dig through them to look for the right color when I need a scrap--but since I use more than just SU-it is OK with me.

I just ordered today some 12 1/2 by 12 1/2 plastic bags from Clear Bags tonight to try to sort my DSP and try to figure out the names of some that are no longer with the SU cardboard backing. They are on sale 100 for $10 I think--they had a "vent hole" in the top which is fine with me. Shipping was over $13 plus an additional $5 for a small order so I HAD to get some cardstock to make the order worthwhile I plan to share some of the bags with other people as I do not need 200 myself.

Does anyone have a current list of the SU cardstock in the ROYGBIV order?
Thanks

I use a few older two pocket kids folders (one features Spider-Man on the cover, lol) to separate by color family. It works, but I do have issues identifying the color names, ect because I never thought to label folders, ect.

Do you have a list of the colors that you use in order that you have them?

This is what I do except mine are by color rather than alphabetically (blues, greens, reds, etc).

I have mine in rolling file carts in hanging file folders. They are organized by color name for the S/U cardstock. My other cardstock - mostly Recollections that I use with my Silhouette is in it's own rolling file cart and is filed ROYGBIV style. I ordered the file carts from Office Max here:

I have a lot of older paper too, and I don't know what color it is, so I am trying to get this totally organized for the present and the future! In some cases, I only have 4 or 5 sheets of one color. Thanks for your thoughts!!

I purchased a Plastic File box with Folders. I added to each file folder all my Cardstock that is 8 1/2 x 11 By Company and color.

For me this really works great!
