Because of the economy we are downsizing to a smaller less expensive house so my wonderful craft room I have now will soon be a little corner in our bedroom!! :( Currently my craftroom is in a room that used to be a office for a business (the people that used to own our house had a hottub business and thier office was attached to thier garage). I am so going to miss it because it has alot of built-in's like a counter with drawers, and alot of storage. In my new space I will need to make due with a table, bookcase and some rubbermaid containers!
This would be perfect!!!! Doesn't take up anymore space than the table and bookcase and look at the storage!!!! Wow those are awesome!!!I would be so pleased if I won!!!!
Here ar a few pics of my current craft room, I thought I has so much storage, seems I have alot of overflow now, wait till I move!!!! Ugh!!!! See the built-in counter and drawers and cupboard??? They will soon be no more:(
My question is this ... You've already had a craft room, I'll never have one, I GET the cabinet ... oh wait. That's not a question. Oh well. Just so you aren't disappointed, I promised to walk the streets in a sandwich sign touting the benefits of the scrapbox for an entire year after I win. Don't let that intimidate you though, keep entering!

How do you know you will never have a craft room??? No one knows what the future will bring so I don't see how you can say that you will NEVER have a craft room???
Did I tell you I live that I live with 3 males??? I stamp to relax and get away from all the testosterone!!!! I could really use a WORKBOX so I can can my own space!!!! They can have the TV, I'll take the WORKBOX!!!!!
I do love how the lime green wall matches your Cuttlebug! And the pink accents (carpet, etc.) give it a watermelon theme look!
Yes, it will certainly be hard to downsize and lose that room.
Tell us more about what you make and who you make it for.
Those are my 2 favorite colors!!!!! :-D
I started out as a scrapbooker, then I found Splitcoast and became a card swapper!!!! I now have swithced to swapping recipe cards!!! I seem to collect cookbooks so may as well add recipe cards to my obsession!!!
I am trying to get back to scrapbooking though, I have a ton of photos needing to be put in books!!!
Me again!!!! I didn't want my last post to get too long.....
I have 2 sons, as you already know from a previous post, they are 16 and 18.
My oldest will be graduating this year so I would like to make a scrapbook for him of him growing up. I love to take photos and have a ton of them just waiting to be organized!!! :-D
Then my youngest is a Sophmore and a wrestler so I have a whole box full of pictures, every newspaper article that mentions his name, ticket stubs, programs etc. from his freshman year. He took 2nd at state (:mrgreen so I am quite proud and really need to get going on his scrapbook since December (wrestling season) is right around the corner!!! I'm planning to do one book to represent all 4 years of high school, maybe a different color for each year, I don't know, I really want it to be nice and something he will cherish.
So as you can see, I really need to get organized and get in gear to get these projects done!!!
I was just thinking about all the different little cubby holes and drawers and pouches in the workbox and dreaming of how handy it would be!!!! I'm amazed at how much can be stored in it and yet when it's closed it only takes up a small amount of space!!!!
With 85 (WOW!!!! :eek canvas totes in all different sizes and 20 clear zipper pouches in assorted sizes, think what you could store!!!!
Paper, colored pencils, markers, punches, designer paper, cuttlebug folders, cuttlebug, eyelets, brads, buttons, ribbon, glitter, embossing powder, stamps, brayer, stamp pads, ink refills, bone folder, scissors, rulers, gel pens, twill tape, pencil sharpener, glue, adhesive remover, dotto, snail adhesive, blender pens, chipboard, cutting mats, paper-piecing tools, envelopes, die cuts, clips, crimper, beads, chalks, thread, vellum, window sheets, stylus, sponge daubers, dimensionals, heat tool, rub-ons and the list goes on!!!! And to top it off it'sbeautiful!!!!
Did I mention to you all how wonderful it would be to own this lovely piece of furniture??? Not only is it beautiful, but it will help me create such wonderful things!!!!
I would finally be able to get caught up on my scrapbbooking since everything would be within reach and all would have a home!!! I can picture myself sitting at the handy collapsible work table just ah stampin' away!!!!!
PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE I WOULD MAKE A NICE HOME FOR THE WORK BOX, AND I PROMISE TO KEEP IT NEAT AND TIDY AND NOT LET ANYONE TOUCH IT WITH DIRTY STICKY FINGERS. (Luckily my kids are past that stage!!:-D)
