I am trying to organize my paper by color - but its hard to try to work in some of the colors like razzleberry. - (dark red or violet - really kind of both) so I am now trying to sort by warm/cool tones but those are difficult too. can someone help me with either the color list or a temperature list whose more color savvy than I? or just tell me to give it up and just keep stampin' thanks in advance Betsy
lol. I feel your pain! I did the same thing. I recommend using a Color Wheel. It gave me the ability to match (or closely match) the colors and put them in an order that made sense to me and was also visually pleasing. I used the SU Color Coach. I found it by just Googling "Stampin' Up Color Coach" and it was the 2nd or 3rd link. It's a pdf file, so your rep might also have one. A friend of mine goes all out. She finds the rgb color codes either online or by scanning the paper into her computer. From the color code, you can tell which color has the highest value and organize them that way. Her method was a little too time consuming for me, but you should see her rainbow of papers! Flawless and gorgeous!
I did mine ROYGBIV too in the best way I could. Not perfect by any means. But I know where things are at least...lol There are always those colors that dont fit into the spectrum like you would like them to but when I find those, I just kinda put them in where I think they should go. Groovy Guava and Cameo Coral were those colors for me...not really pink, not really orange.
I keep all mine sorted alphabetically by name. I used to keep it in color families according to SU, but since the color change in '05, I went alphabetically and it works well.
