Default Got Ikea CD Towers?

I have five of these CD shelf towers and recently freed up a lot of space in them when I switched my die storage from CD cases to paper envelopes in files. The towers are filling up fast (nice for jars and bottles!), but I haven't thought much about organizing it. The advantage is that you can see everything, at least.

My question is: Do you have any great suggestions for storage boxes or other containers (other than CD and DVD cases) that fit well and work for you within those shelf spaces? Any other tips on ways to make the most of those spaces? Are there any storage boxes out there that neatly fit in each cube? (I have towers with two widths: ca. 6 1/4 inches and 8 inches wide.)

Anyone happy with storing stamp pads vertically?

Do you mean stamp pads on their sides? I store mine this way and haven't had any issues. I have all of my palette inks on their sides and don't notice any settling or issues. I also have some Hero Arts and Memento pads this way. It saves a TON of space and I've been happy with it.

I should say I've had mine like this for just about a year with no issues.

Good to know. Ever since Jennifer McGuire recommended it in a video, I've been tempted to store my pads on end and gain a lot more space. She also suggested applying color labels on all sides, but two sides makes sense to me. Do you have any problem with the row of pads being too loose and covers slipping off? Got a solution to that?

I have two: one for A-2 cut cardstock, the other for A-2 size envelopes, by color.
