I love 'flipping' through my clear stamps (in Tim Holtz envelopes) and dies (in Essentials by Ellen envelopes). It is by far the best system for me.
I unmounted most of my SU stamps, now I want to put them on something I can 'flip'. I feel like the Tim Holtz envelopes aren't fat enough for unmounted with foam. I am going to buy some Stamp n Store panels, but wonder what kind of clear envelope is out there to put them in.
Or, what about just leaving the panels open to air??
I have my unmounted rubber stamps on those same panels. Each is stamped on cardstock as it is easier to see the design than looking at the rubber. I put the cardstock in front of the panel and just slip it into a gallon ziploc bag. I leave to bag open at the top. I have them sitting upright in an Sterlite container that fits them perfectly. Very easy to flip through them. Good luck.

I just get the cheap brand in the grocery store. perfect fit. And they don't crinkle. I have had mine this way for years. I used to have the panels in 3 ring binders, but then I had way too many binders and sometimes I like to look through my actual stamps instead of my stamp index book (for inspiration) and the binders were way too much hassle.

I store all of my cling mounted stamps, including SU inside the Tim Holz folders and they fit just fine. I even use the double sided panels that are magnetic on one side to keep the matching dies with their stamps and they all fit. So if you really like your current system there is no reason to change, unless you just want the larger size panels.
I have my cs in ziplocks, but with the zipper part cut off. Now that I envision it, that would work for the thickness of the red rubber and foam- I want just one set per bag, and am planning on cutting the panels in half. I'll go to the store and check out sizes of ziplock bags, too.
I just use the small binder sheets you can get from GinaK, Taylored Expressions, Simon Says Stamp or Crafters Companion. They also have panels that are plain on one side and magnetic on the other for stamps that have matching dies.
I also use zip lock bags with the zipper cut off for my card stock. I also use them for my large size stamp sets and background stamps. I purchased the 4mil thick zip locks from Amazon in a few different sizes. I'm sure you could find the size you need. They are fairly inexpensive as well.
Here are the pics of my system that I have been using for years and really like. Easy to flip through. #1 shows a pic through the ziploc bag. Images stamped on cardstock for easy viewing. #2 shows stamp set on the panel. #3 shows them in my sterlite holder.
Sorry for quality of pics. I have just a very basic cell phone.

My panels are at the PO, but I have no car today so will get them Monday. I see cutting them in half, and with all of your input, have many ideas for envelopes. Many of my unmounteds are single stamps, and none are really large sets, so 8.5 x 11 is too big for me. One of my goals for today is to photograph my 'flip' system!!
I am over joyed with this flip system Now all my stamps are in one place and I can just flip through them . I didn't separate the sets , but I filed them by topic or holiday .
Mine are stored in a large plastic file box because I don't have a shelf to keep them on in an open container. The file box fits in the closet .
I moved all of my clear stamps to EZ-Mount storage panels . My rubber stamps are already on EZ-Mount panels .
I bought Comic book sleeves to hold all the clear or rubber stamps . The sleeves are made of Polypropylene and safe for clear or rubber stamps .
I put the printed acetate with the images from the clear stamps back in the original cellophane sleeve and put it on the back side of the storage panel . I used the original cellophane sleeve to be sure none of the ink from the acetate transferred onto the EZ-Mount panel or the comic book sleeve
I stamped the rubber stamps on card stock and put those into cellophane sleeves on the back of the storage panels
It was a lot of work, but well worth the time and money
