Now that I have gone back and read each and every post in this thread ... I have a lot of work to do! Thank you everyone who created files. I hope/expect to be adding my own shortly.
You could put all of your dies into one notebook called DIES, then tag each individual note with SPELLBINDERS, SQUARES AND RECTANGLES, etc. If you import a couple of my files above, you'll see what I mean.
You can also separate your notebooks into separate books for each manufacturer, if you want. But with the tagging feature, it's not essential to do that.
Thank you so much for your suggestions, Sharon. I have a bit of work to do this weekend
There are 60 total files of spellbinders; first 20 are above. I will upload the rest of them tomorrow evening. Each file has 10-15 notes in it; any more than that and it was too big to upload.
Hi Sharon, i am having trouble trying to get your spellbinder files into evernote.
They come up with all the text code, but cant read them. Would you know what i am doing wrong? Thanks for your help, i am only new to evernote
I have notebooks of my SU stamp sets (current and retired), SU punches, and Big Shot dies and embossing folders. If you would like a copy of any of my notebooks, I would be happy to share them. Right now, I am currently working on adding my SU supplies (I am a SU demonstrator) and will add my other supplies after I finish with SU stuff!
I'm a new Stampin Up demonstrator and would love to see how you keep track of your supplies with Evernote. Would you mind sharing?
Help! I have Evernote, how do I export the wonderful shares everyone is posting? I click on the file, it downloads but when I try and pull it up it comes up in Adobe and said it was an invalid file or something like that. Many thanks!

My notebooks are attached in this forum starting in post # 81.....
I'm going to try and attach my current SU stamps notebook again since it has changed a lot since I first posted it!!
Thank you! I got it! YEA! I didn't realize I hadn't downloaded the "Evernote" program to my computer. I was using it from the browser which doesn't allow you to import, really it didn't give you the option. So now if someone else has the same issues, there ya go, now you know. I"m pretty sure I'm the only one that didn't realize that. Sometimes it's the simple things that get me! LOL
Since there's been a few new catalogs since the last time that I posted my Current Stampin'Up Stamps notebook .... and yes, I've bought just a few more stamp sets (LOL!)...I thought I would upload my new Current Stamp Set notebook. There's a total of 110 stamps, so I've split my notebook and uploaded it in four separate files. Hopefully this will help others and decrease your work!
I want to see all the dies, not just what I own. I'm thinking of adding a tag called HAVE and perhaps a tag called WANT to indicate those things. Thoughts?
The way I did my Copics and Alcohol Inks (and a few others) was to add a note in my noteboook with a list and a box where I can check what I have. That way, I have a list of all the colors (or whatever) and I can see at a glance which ones I have by which ones are checked. Then I also have notes with the color swatches (or whatever) with the info.

Would you mind sharing your Copics list with the check boxes? It would be very helpful to see how you did this. Thanks.

OK Ladies...hopefully these will work also...
current SU stamps - 4 attachments - 86 notes total
I downloaded one of Sarah's Evernote files and noticed that when it is showing the snippet it shows the entire picture, then you click on the note and the picture is larger on the right hand side. I hope this makes sense. For the pictures I have done, in the snippet window it only shows a portion of the picture, you need to click on the note to see the entire picture. So how do you get it to show the entire picture?
Oh, I figured there was some super-obvious method that I just wasn't seeing!
If anyone wants the notebook when I'm done, I can provide that. It should be a couple of days or so at the most.
And if anyone else is a little tech-savvy, and has an excel spreadsheet of data they want to upload with each line as an individual note, I have a macro that will do that. It won't upload any embedded images. It will upload a title, a tag, and a note.
Sharon
Sharon, I would love your macro, it would be very helpful. Thanks from another Sharon.

I figured this out. If you don't have any text after the picture, then the picture displays larger in the snippet (I would call this a tumbnail).
When I have time I want to read through your stuff, Thanks so much!
I have one question that has been bugging me- occasionally when I open Evernote there is a pop-up saying "evernote has sent a message to your email", I presume evernote email, WHERE do I find the message they have sent me?

EVERNOTE email is just a way to send your emails to your account. If they sent you an email I would think it would be in your regular email account.
It is a great program. The more you put in it the better it is.
I just got Evernote and can't decide if it would be better to list my stamps all in one notebook and rely on the tags when I wanted a list by company or if I should just start out entering them by company to begin with. Does anyone have any suggestions or advice - pro or con?

I personally entered all my stamps in one notebook. It makes them easier to find if you can't remember what company the are from. I loooooove Evernote! I am using stamps I haven't used in a long time because they pop up when I put in a search. I hope you like it too.

Another vote for a single notebook. When I started using Evernote to catalog my stamps, I had two notebooks --- one for wood-mounted and one for clear. I have since combined them and use tags to differentiate between wood-mount and clear.
I am looking for a PDF or JPG image of Endless Birthday Wishes so I can add it to Evernote and I can't remember what catalog to find it in. Can anyone help me? There isn't even an index card in the gallery I could use.

I recommend you google stamp name and put stampin up in search, lots of images will come up. You can then right click and copy image and then paste in evernote. This is how I get all my images rather than the catalog...if they are not at su website anymore. Good luck.

I often use the "snipping tool" to grab an image, save it as a JPG, and attach it in Evernote. If you don't have a snipping tool, PM me and I can do this for you. Good luck!
