I found a basket at Michael's that would hold four of the 72-Copic holders. But, with all the new colors I ran out of room. I thought about the Artbin system but, I really liked my basket.
Since I worked for a shop that had access to the plastic grille (eggcrate in Canada) I had the shop cut two to size. Since they sat just fine in the Copic holders I saw no reason to do the two separate layers as others had done. Also, as the eggcrate was just a bit thinner than the Copic container I taped two together and it works! I am a happy camper again....and I still have room for more markers.
Although...I tried to gently lift and pull the anti-slip piece from underneath and...I ended up sitting on the floor with my color chart putting it back together again! It seems the rubber in the anti-slip doesn't react very nicely with acrylic and it started to etch the bottom of my Copic boxes. Not nice!

I store my copics in empty Nestle's Quick containers. They are yellow plastic. They are the perfect height you can put the cover on for travel and lay them down or upright for storage. I am going to cover mine with DP.

What a great idea! I wish I'd saved a bunch of those!!
