Hello all. I don't know about you, but I always had trouble storing and looking through my clear stamps. If they were in binders, I either needed 10 binders to house them all, or the binders were so heavy and unwieldy that I couldn't easily look through them. Here's what I did and I just love it! I store them in bins now on laminated cards. It works perfectly for me. Hope this helps! I have directions and supply list on my blog... Crafty Card Cafe

Love your system - And I went to your blog and I love it, too! Just bookmarked it so I can keep up with all the great cards you make.
PS Just realized I could sign up for email up dates, so I did that, too.

I love it. I have something similar. I went to home depot and got this plexiglass pieces that are meant for picture frames. I bought a boatload of them and sorted my stamps on the plexiglass and I flip through them in the container that I keep them in. It makes it some much easier to see what you have. I love yours.
My storage method for ALL of my stamps is similar to yours. My rubber stamps are all unmounted (with two-way glue on the back), so they stick to the laminated cards, as well.
Welcome to the blogging community! I've bookmarked your blog - well done!
I've had some people ask me where I got the storage containers. They are at Target. I think the official name is "Kitchen organizer by iDesign". They are online and instore. If you go instore to get them, they are back in the storage aisles with other plastic containers (cereal containers), strainers, kitchen drawer organizers. They aren't in the kitchen area in the front of the store. Hope this helps!
I'm just tired of rooting around a big bin to find a set. I've decided to store mine alphabetical by manufacturer, and I'm even including some cling stamps that didn't come in DvD cases.

Sue- that's a good idea too... storing them by manufacturer. My problem is, I like so many different companies, that it was easier to do mine by theme.
One comment I have is to make sure that the laminating sheets you use are "stamp friendly". There's a thread on here that talked about what was safe for using with cling and clear stamps.

you wouldnt happen to have a link or remember the name of the thread by chance, would you?
thank you!
Be careful about storing your stamps in CD cases!!!! I had all of mine in CD cases, went to get a stamp to make a card, and the chemicals in the plastic had done something to the stamp! I immediately got all of my stamps out of CD cases and now have them stored in SU's DVD cases.
I finally finished moving all of my clear stamps into the pockets. Phew! The few PTI sets I had in CD cases were the worst because I needed to get new label sheets and then painstakingly cut out each label and mount it on the acetate. Then I discovered that I forgot to order one label sheet, but since they want $7 to ship a $1 item, I'm just going to do without. I probably could have saved myself a whole lot of time if I had forgone the label sheets for all of them.
But my clear stamps are now organized and easy to find. Win!

Much like what I did... I sat a few clear stamps on my SU catty. Went back the next morning to find them stuck, I mean, really stuck on there. When I peeled them off, the shiny coating on the catty had stuck to the back of the stamp making it not sticky anymore. Have scrubbed and scrubbed, but I think they are now one... :(

If you have any Un-du, it would probably work to remove the catty coating from the stamp. Just make sure to rinse the stamp really well afterwards to remove any chemical residue...
