Default cheap storage

Instead of buying one of the more expensive cupboards or storage units for my crafting and stamping supplies, I went to the tool storage area in Wal-Mart and bought a 6'x3' (approx.) 5 shelf unit for tools. It is off white and works very well. Price....$59.00 and works great.

The hardware section is the first place I look, then kitchenware.

I have a "tool box" for $15 that was $70 in the fishing tackle store and about the same in pink from a craft store. Can't complain about that.

I have 3 tall bookshelves that I use to hold all my scrapping supplies. I like that I can remove shelves, make them smaller or bigger depending on what I want to place on the shelf. Much cheaper than buying all the Jet Max cubes for storage. I did splurge and buy 5 of the Jet Max 4 shelf cubes to hold all my paper. (I made sure though that each one was purchased with a 50% off coupon---$20.00 instead of $40.00!) Five cubes are the exact height of my bookshelves. I also place all my supplies in bins from Ikea. I love organization!!! and I love having everything matching (toatallly and completely **** retentive!!!!LOL

There is only one thing better than organisation - achieving it cheaply

Don't forget about the spice jars that you never use, the jars to store sugar, flour, etc., Mason jars, old chili cans, soup cans, etc. for the smaller things. Or the plastic containers and/or boxes at the $1 store too. If you buy the large Parmesan Cheese containers from Costco, those are fabulous too. I never thought of this until someone else suggested using these types of things after their cleaned out. Genius!!
