    Good morning.

Thank you for the "shout out" on the FAVORITES list this week. It has been a LONG time since I have been able to sit down to enjoy making SCS challenges.
    Happy Monday,

    Hi Linda,

My DH and I live in the Northeast, so harsh winters. The Cardinal pair remain all year, winter included. I keep plenty of food for them but their young ones go to find their own place. Once in a while we will see more than the one pair but there's always plenty of food for the occasional visitor. They have gotten to know me and are less skittish these days when I go out to feed them. Once or twice they have come to my kitchen window...I believe they were trying to tell me food was low or out all together, lol, and I take care of it right away. My DH even clears the snow around the feeder in the winter for any birds who wish to eat off the ground. We have so many different varieties that come to our feeders and bring us much joy just watching them. Probably way more than you wanted to know, lol. I really enjoyed seeing your beautiful painting today. You have the colors absolutely perfect for the lovely Mrs. Cardinal. TYFS
