OMGosh, I WANT that cake!!! I'm visiting my Dad for the day and have a few supplies with me. Am getting ready to go to a "garage sale" at the LSS so maybe I'll find something to assist with this challenge! BBL!
Ok, so Starry Night and Scream are two of my favorite paintings, so when I saw Starry Night on one of the cakes, I knew that was the one to use. I also incorporated some of Scream in it by using this girly girl with a kinda open mouth...anyway, here it is: Starry Night
Hello all! I enjoy looking at the challenge and the cards each Saturday morning. I needed a wedding card and her colors are black and white. So I figured today was the day I stopped lurking and started participating .
So here is my card: IC80 Wedding Cake by October Gal at Splitcoaststampers
Thanks for looking and thanks for the work you all do for the fun challenges here! Jen
WHAT A CAKE! WOW! Love it and immediately thought of using my bella and decorating her cake like it! Here is my card -thanks for the inspiration Karen.
I had fun with this challenge. Since I'm new and I dont have alot of stuff yet. So I really dont have any stamps to go along with this challenge. I think I was able to capture the theme. I decided to make a matching gift bag to go along with the card.
WOW--that is some cake--how could you cut into a work of art like that!! After looking (and drooling) at them all, I chose a different one because of the colors which I don't usually use. So much fun and a great challenge, Karen!Turtle

I chose a wedding cake in Riley's honor. I hope she won't be apalled that it is the corpse bride! I just loved the colors and knew I had the stuff to pull it off.
Loved this inspriational challenge! Thank you Karen! I used a technique that I haven't used in a while, too. The shaving cream technique. I forgot how messy it can be. But, I think it came out great and was worth the mess. LOL! Thanks for looking.
Took stampin' stuff with me today while visiting my Dad. Spent 8 hours at his house, and 6 hours in the car! Finally home, and this is what I ended up making while I was there with my limited supplies! Thanks for looking!
