Happy Saturday & welcome to the Inspiration Challenge! How can it be December already?? November just flew by like a Blue Norther. This week's challenge is brought to you by Joss & Main. They have a lot of beautiful decorating ideas & decorations for your home. I think you'll love the ideas you'll find there. So hurry on over, check out Joss & Main pick what appeals to you & go create! Be sure to link us up to what inspired you.
For those of you who say you get overwhelmed with having too many, or too little, images to choose from, I've uploaded 5 (or more) of my favorite designs! So just stick with one (or all) of those for your inspiration. Click on the images below to see them bigger and to get their links on SCS.
How to Play ~ View the attached images. You may be inspired to recreate the pieces ~ but that isn't necessary ... get your inspiration from the colors, layout, style or 'theme'. Just enjoy wherever your inspired creative journey takes you. Remember, if you are inspired by the creation of another artist, please do not use print-outs of the art in your creation or directly copy their work. Make the inspiration piece your own. Don't worry ~ no card is 'wrong' and there is no time limit for uploading your card for the challenge. There are no rules, so let your creative juices run wild ~ be *inspired* and go get stamping!
Don't forget about No Upload Sunday - Let's give the gallery moderators a day off and not upload on Sunday (unless, of course, you are a Fan Club member - yet another reason to spend a little money on your favorite site). Also, remember to link to your SCS gallery on this thread. Thank you for joining me on this inspiration journey.

On a windows machine, right click the picture (on a Mac, 2 finger click). When the options come up, select COPY IMAGE ADDRESS. This link will be for that picture.

Inspired by today's challenge, in particular the Chamblee Patchwork Cotton Throw Pillow- I cut 5 inch strips, sewn vertically, then cut horizontally to create two panels for my quilt top- with a stair step cascading style layout. This came together quickly because I used a "stitch and flip" style of quilting- attaching my quilt top to the batting and quilt back simultaneously. I had in mind plaids in a lap sized quilt, so I went through my stash, using fleece strips from a remnant basket in a quilt store in Deer Park, Montana from my summer's travels- and visiting the up-cycle store in town for some rough woven cotton plaids. Back is done in blue plaid with a row of snow-themed fleece squares- as Becky loves blue. Here's my quilt front and the quilt back- a hit with my friend Becky

Julie, you picked a good one for the challenge - Josh & Main is totally addictive....in fact, the eye candy on this site is so additive that I’ve bookmarked close to 40 inspiration pieces. I am convinced this site is more sticky than Pinterest, and that’s saying a lot!!!!
Do I have a card made for the challenge? Of course not! But I’ve been having a ball surfing and being inspired by all the amazing pieces I’ve spotted on this site.
I am hoping to be back soon with a card to show as a sign of appreciation for the all of the inspiration!
