This weeks Inspiration Challenge comes from the Vintage Poster Market home of one of the largest collections of European vintage poster reproductions. They carry a wide range of artists and subjects that are sure to inspire.
For those of you who say you get overwhelmed with having too many choices, Ive uploaded five of my favorites so just stick with one (or all) of those for your inspiration.
The rest of you, remember to let us know which item from Vintage Poster Market that inspired you.
I have invited Monika (buzsy) to join me in making an additional card to inspire you.
Use the keyword: IC349 (no spaces or extra characters) when you upload your card, and make sure you put commas between your key words.
How to Play ~ View the attached images. You may be inspired to recreate the pieces ~ but that isn't necessary ... get your inspiration from the colors, layout, style or 'theme'. Just enjoy wherever your inspired creative journey takes you. Remember, if you are inspired by the creation of another artist, please do not use print-outs of the art in your creation or directly copy their work. Make the inspiration piece your own. Don't worry ~ no card is 'wrong' and there is no time limit for uploading your card for the challenge. There are no rules, so let your creative juices run wild ~ be *inspired* and go get stamping!
Don't forget about No Upload Sunday - Let's give the gallery moderators a day off and not upload on Sunday (unless, of course, you are a Fan Club member - yet another reason to spend a little money on your favorite site). Also, remember to link to your SCS gallery on this thread. Thank you for joining me on this inspiration journey.
I sure hope I can play along today. Yesterday morning I hurt my back cleaning the bathroom and it's hurts so bad to walk. I found some wonderful inspiration....
Hugs,
K

Stephanie- great challenge I was inspired by His master's voice- with the dog image, and the victrola. My DS Don is visiting, and he used to work in a museum with victrolas! Here is Find Joy

Stef- just love this site! I was inspired by Seville Feria, with its lovely lady in a matilla veil- and so I took Graphic 45's My Beloved paper, and cut out this pretty bride with my framelits die and added some pretty antique lace and trim. Here's Vintage Bride

Steph- my last card for the day, was inspired by the Liner Amazone, Antilles- with its bright colors, and perched bird. Used Hero Art's messages stamp, Hambo Stamps' Crows- and added a gathered ribbon and rough twine. Here's Three Crows Hello

I'm not confidant about this work. Victorian doesn't come naturally to me.
Is there too much paper tearing?
What about the colors? Do they work with the style?
What about the sponging - too much?
I tried to distress the ribbon - does it just look junky?
