This week's Inspiration Challenge takes us to the Patina Store! Patina offers a shopping experience that is meant to "elevate your senses, broaden your perspective and invoke a lifestyle change." 1993 marked the year Patina's first brick and mortar store opened and it has since grown to five Minneapolis/St. Paul locations. I hope you enjoy browsing their website and are inspired by the many wonderful items they have to offer!
Use keyword IC298 (no spaces or extra characters) and be sure you have commas between your key words.
If you don't have time to spend browsing the website, attached are a few of the many samples from the store that you are welcome to use as your inspiration!
How to Play ~ View the attached sample images and/or browse the suggested website. Get your inspiration from the the individual items, patterns, theme or color pallets. Just enjoy wherever your inspired and creative journey takes you! Make the inspiration piece your own! Don't worry ~ no card is 'wrong'! There is no time limit on this challenge and there are no rules. Explore and enjoy ~ be *inspired* to create, have fun, and share your artwork!!
Don't forget about No Upload Sunday - Let's give the gallery moderators a day off and not upload on Sunday (unless, of course, you are a Fan Club member - yet another reason to spend a little money on your favorite site). Also, remember to link to your SCS gallery on this thread. Thank you for joining me on this inspiration journey.
What a wonderful site, Anne. I really enjoyed looking at all their wares. I even decided to do my card in a "patina" shade....really the discontinued SU Sage Shadow which I LOVE! Thanks for hosting this week.
I just about fell off my chair this morning when I saw Patina as the inspiration for the challenge! Patina is my favorite store in the Twin Cities...I live less than 5 minutes from one store, about 8 from the other in St. Paul (Yes, there are 2 stores that close together). Believe me...it's even better in person! Tons of cute stuff!! I take all out of town guests there (SCSers drop by!), I buy gift cards for Christmas there, and I don't want to say how much of my house is adorned with things from Patina. I had no problem finding inspiration here..my card Oh The Drama...from this item . I may have to go back and do another card later today. Great challenge!!
So glad to be back to stamping after a bit of a break! Thanks for the great inspiration site to get me going again. I made this frame Inspired Vintage Collage as well as this card

Okay, I finally got mine done. Had lunch with two of my children and their families...four of us have birthddays close together, so we get together as our schedules permit...I smell like a new baby burp...LOL... but it is all good....I chose to use a black and white coffee pot for inspiration for this card..IC298 Patina in Black and White by eured99 - Cards and Paper Crafts at Splitcoaststampers
the inspiration piece is listed with my card....great site...love all the colors and contrast!
