Oh my, this one left me in tears. Everytime I tried to think of my home state, Arkansas, all I could think of was my Dad. He was the greatest dad a daughter could have. He lost his battle with cancer January 3, 2000. He alway wanted to live to see the year 2000. Well he made it but not long into it. Okay, enough tears. By the way, the image is really my Dad! Well, I made it in the nick of time . . . LOL! I live in Florida and have been growing roses pretty much all my life (who would know I love flowers . . . LOL). When I saw the challenge today, I knew this design would fit right in as I used roses in the design. After seeing the challenge, I cut some roses from my "home" state to share . . . LOL!

I guess I truly am a Splitcoaststamper! I live in Washington but am from NJ.
Quite far from my family, for sure.
Here is my Jersey Shore card. Please know that it is NOTHING like that silly show on tv. I don't know any of the Sopranos either The Jersey Shore by sleepyinseattle at Splitcoaststampers

Hi all, this is such an awesome challenge! I was raised in Texas but have lived in FL, NY and now in NC. I love NC so my card is based on the state flower, the dogwood!
Here is my card.
This is an awesome challenge!! Definitely thought-provoking!!! Several cities have truely been home for my husband and I over the years, but when I read this Challenge I knew I'd have to go back to my true home-town in California - San Francisco. A quick websearch for photos led me directly to the most awesome photo of the Golden Gate Bridge - which gave inspiration for my card. Also took inspiration from Sunday's featured stamper (The wonderfully talented and inspiring Pat Smethers!!) gallery.
