what a TIME I had uploading this - plus I could NOT get a decent picture of this card no matter HOW hard I tried......this truly WAS a challenge for me - but now - I'm on to stamping!!! Here's my card,,,,I'm exhausted just getting it here.....
Good afternoon friends. I have several that I wish to share with y'all today. Thank you so much for looking and have a great day. Please feel free to leave comments at my website too. I'll be posting the details later this evening after I have my pool time. God bless you.
Coffee Cup. This is actually a gift card holder made out of an envelope. I know my sentiment is crooked. I have to stand up when I stamp sentiments and didn't this time.
I thought that lovely one-piece was B&W till I took a closer look. When I saw the green, it was too much like Jen's inspiration cake from the DTGD which I found SO hard - so I chose something else. Some lovely colours there, I may get round to using some of those lovely stripes another day. Thanks for a great inspiration challenge. Glitter 'n' Snow
Here is my entry for this week's inspiration challenge. Stephanie found this Athleta swimwear, which is has very pretty colors. Thank you Stephanie. This is the inspiration for my card:
I was inspired by the red swimsuit. I had envisioned a red bow, but it just wasn't working for me. In the process of figuring out how to attach the bow I smeared black ink on the side of the image :(
After several minutes of trying to figure out how to cover it up (yes, I know it would've been faster to just re-stamp the image, but what fun would that have been?....lol) I ended up grabbing the box of Bedazzler beads that I bought on clearance for $1 and used those.
Shifting gears from snowmen to swimwear. TFL at my Just Rite Monogram

The Magenta color in the suit was not anything I could get with the papers that I have, but I went for the closest thing I could find and dusted off that Orchid Opulence I think I've never used.
Too much fun, I think I'm off to be inspired some more!

Hi Everyone! The Inspiration Challenge is always my favorite challenge and it's been awhile since I've had time to play. I thoroughly enjoyed the challenege today, Steph and thanks for all that you do behind the scenes. Here's my submisson: IC141 Love You Bunches by Hearth_Cricket at Splitcoaststampers

I embossed the dp using CB's Bloom Dots; added embossed Prima flowers and a sentiment. I haven't decided if I will add a ribbon...I kind of like it without one but it does still need something! I used the gatefold technique on this card...it is one of my favorite techniques and always makes such a pretty card. tfl
Here's mine! I chose the top as my inspiration, drawing on the colors and the swirls. (I also used two DD Fan Club challenges, the sketch and product/materials - bling)
