SIC115 (12/26/11) Favorite Hot Beverage Inspiration
I hope you all had a wonderful Christmas! Or maybe you are like me, and it is not over yet. DD and family are coming tomorrow! So we haven't even celebrated with family yet! Can't wait though! I just think I will sit down and have a hot cup of tea!
That brings us to our challenge. It is that time of season for hot chocolate, or hot cider, or hot coffee, or hot tea or whatever your favorite hot beverage is. I am thinking lets be inspired by our favorite hot beverage!
Challenge: Do a page that incorporates in some way your favorite hot beverage!
It could be in the photos, or in the boarders, or embellies. However you want to do it.
I look forward to seeing your pages ladies! As always, they can be paper, digi or hybrid!!! Please remember to add SIC115 and sbc11dec (or whatever month you do this challenge in, because you can do this challenge anytime you want. There is no time limit!) to your keywords so we find your pages. Also, you don't have to, but post a link in this thread, so we know you did one for this challenge. And post a "Hi" , even if you just stop by and read the challenge. Let us know you were here. We would like to know how many read these challenges. LOL
Have a wonderful scrappy day!
Sharon

I'll have to take a picture of the box of Alpine Apple Cider that is only sold during the cold months around here. I love it but can only buy it at that time of year so I usually buy quite a few so I can have it year round! I've even found a special place to buy a whole case of it one year when no one was selling it locally! Much more expensive that way but I just had to have it
This is a great idea for a challenge. Now that I finally sent in my order for the Disney photobook from Shutterfly, maybe I can get some pages done in between reorganizing and getting my Christmas stuff put away. I have several challenges to get caught up on!
Hi Terry. Hi Wendy. I hope you all had a great Christmas. It will be nice to get back to really scrapping, won't it? I hope we can get some pages in this gallery!
Terry , you will have to scrap a page about your cider! I hadn't heard of it before! We used to make come kind of cider at Christmas. I havne't done it in years.
I don't think I will be on much this week, as my kids and grans are here. I will probably have lots of photos to scrap, after they leave. - Next Monday is when they leave. We have lots of fun planned.

I know you'll have a fabulous time with your kids and DGKs. That's quite a treat for Grandma! My DGDs live about 1/2 hr. from us, so we see them pretty regularly. Glad you told us why we won't be seeing you much this week--that way I won't worry about you! Have fun!
Yay, Sharon. Missed seeing you here! How was your visit with your kids and grandkids??? Super, I'm sure! I came down with a cold right after Christmas and am still movin' slow. No scrapping yet!
Sorry you have been sick. Not fun for you!
I had a fun time with my grans! We were busy, busy! And now I have a lot of photos to scrap! Rock wall climbing, swimming (we took them to the YMCA, where we work out), crafting and photos of a party we had, and of course opening packages. Hundreds I bet! But we are now going to be tearing down my craft room, so I can paint. Then DH and I will shop for some more cabinets before we put it back together. I can't wait! Don't think I will get much scrapping done while we do that. He said we could sit up the cabinets out in the family room and use it there while we re-do everything!
Happy New Year Wendy!
