Pam (Girlie Girl) has an idea for us so that we can have more swappers at the event, but still fit it all in during the time frame. Stay tuned for an update from her on that idea.

Please see her post #40 about what we are doing to accomodate more people at the swap. I have also added an update on the first page and moved everyone that was on the waiting list to the main list.

That's the way we did do the last time, it was fun. You made 1/2 the cards & picked up 1/2 the cards that were already made

If there is still room, I'd love to attend. VCCI is walking distance from home and I don't have anyone in the area that I stamp with!!

We would love to have you. If you are that close to the VCCI, you have to come by and stamp with me sometime, I live in Victoria Cottages and would love someone else to stamp with locally.

That sounds wonderful! I'm at Victoria Landing Estates so we are neighbors. I'm looking forward to the April get together. This will be my first shoe box swap and first stamping event in a long time!

I think 40 should be the limit, like you said 40 cards are alot to make anymore and I think it might discourage people from participating in the shoebox swap. Just my 2cents worth!

I am with you Allison! This sounds like so much fun. I don't think anybody knew about the baby. I have been out of the loop too. He is so much fun but I am still in shock that I have another baby. He is 8 weeks old today and his brothers are 9 & 11! His name is Ty and maybe I will bring him to the swap!

I think some people think we have to make all 40 cards. Remember, we will each only have to make 20. Maybe I will put together a mailing list and PM everybody so they know the change to the swap rules.

It was a pretty rough 24 hours around here. Luckily, Roswell only got a little rain. I hope all our GA girls are okay.

I did a mock up of what I'm making tonight if anyone wants to see. Keep in mind this is a mockup so it's a little off center and one of the colors is retired (I'm getting colors that aren't).

NOTE: Shell this is the 1st time I made it & it took me less than 10 minutes. It was super easy.
