How far is Jefferson from Delavan? Ben Franklin Crafts (just off I-43 in the area by Walgreens) has a decent scrapbook section. Linda, who used to own Memories from the Heart downtown, set it up and keeps it stocked. Ben Franklin Crafts of Delavan, Wisconsin
Edgerton has Scrap Happens. It's great as you can RENT stamp sets! Libby also has some supplies for sale, too. Scrap Happens | Facebook
thanks Jennie, its less than an hour. I will have to check it out soon. I just went to the Ben Franklin in Oconomowoc on Friday, they had a decent selection, some prices good, some not so good. They had some Tim Holtz stuff that I liked and they have a few cards on display that were really nice. I am not a glitter freak, but their glitter cards were done so nice that it made me want to give it a try.
Just putting a reminder out there that it is not too late to join us for our 3rd Annual Hartford Shoebox Swap. Please see the link below for all details. Registration is open until July 25th. If you are interested please let us know so we may get you on the list. Please take a look and hope to hear from you soon. Don't be afraid to ask questions.
I'm the August hostess for my Close to My Heart stamp club, and the new idea book/catalog just came out this month, so I wanted to throw out an offer delivering any orders to local folks (Madison area or Milwaukee if I can send things with my sister) or shipping your goodies to you, if there's anyone interesting in placing an order through my awesome demo during my hostess month. CTMH just released a Cricut cartridge (700 images with 3 matching stamp sets) and there are a few bonus stamp set rewards for spending certain dollar amounts, so it's a good time to shop (when is it not?!). :p
Let me know if you're interested in joining in on my Aug 15 order. I can get a free catalog from her to you or PM me for questions or for links to browse online.
It is with a heavy heart and tears in my eyes that I write this note to you. After almost fourteen years, I've decided not to renew my lease and will be closing Scrapbook Superstore on January 31, 2012. This was a very difficult decision to make - one that saddens me, but on the bright side, I am looking forward to spending lots of time with my grandson and family as well as getting in better physical shape and health. And, yes, I'll finally get to scrapbook!
To my employees, who have been the most incredible staff anyone could ask for, and all of our customers' who have become like family to us, I promise that you won't be forgotten. I plan to continue hosting occasional crops, scrapbooking retreats, classes and even organizing a garage sale in late spring or early summer.
For now' it's business as usual at Scrapbook Superstore. We'll still be taking special orders and continue to have new products right up to the holidays. Though we will not be selling Gift Certificates after October 31st, all current unexpired gift certificates and store credits can be redeemed until the day we close.
I will continue the Wedding Invitation business as Divine Designs Custom Invitations and will honor any quotes made after July 31st, as well as continuing to schedule invitation consultations at the store through January and then by appointment after we close.
Thanks for your loyalty and friendship - I will most certainly miss everything about the store (except the long hours). Now more than ever, you'll want to keep in touch with us through emails, Facebook and our website.
So sorry to hear this, but wish you much success on all your future plans and also praying for you have a healthy future too. Best wishes!!!

I'm going to a Shoebox in Iowa March 9 - 11, 2012. It's at Pictured Rocks Retreat Center in Monticello, IA. $110 for the whole weekend and I think some of the food is potluck. If anyone is interested, let me know and I'll forward their flyer. I attended this same group's Shoebox two years ago and it was great!
I'm from east side of Madison but now live in Mt Horeb which is about 30 miles west of Madison We should all get together I didn't know there were so many stampers from the area
I live in Sun Prairie and am finding my stamping world gets smaller as I meet new people. If you would like to join us for making 12 cards on Jan 28th in Monona, email me at [email protected] for the flyer. There are door prize tickets and raffle tickets too. Lots of fun and neat cards.
Welcome, Tricia - You should check out the Friendship, WI Shoebox thread - it's on April 14th and several of us will be there! I'm from Hartford, WI but I love to do road trips to stamping events!
Hi all, i am from Door County Wisconsin and am interested in getting together with other stampers in this area. I've been stamping for 2 years and have really found what I love to do.
I was born in Marshfield, moved to Madison for college, moved to Shawano because of a great teaching job upon graduation and now split my time between my house in Shawano and my BF's place in Oshkosh!
Fun!
It's so cool to see someone mentioning Shawano! I spent most of my young years living on the north shore of Shawano Lake with my grandma and brother. I spent MANY a day at the park and riding my bicycle all around the back roads. We attended a one room school house that was next to a riding stable on the main road around the lake, heading towards the Cecil direction. We had good friends who's parents ran the Shalagoco country club and golf course. I don't think I spelled that right! I wonder if it's still there?
Well, I'm just a couple of weeks away from turning 65, so it's been awhile! Those were fun times though! Spent many a day on the lake on homemade rafts, fishing with my brother.
I too have lived in Wisconsin my whole life. I live in Oshkosh but was born in Appleton.
I'm about 30 miles SW in the small town of Brandon!

Hello everyone! Here is the information attached for the 4th annual Hartford shoebox swap. Please take a look there have been a few simple changes. We hope to make this another successful year. Let us know if you need anything.
I'm new to the site and this sounds fun, but I have a question. Do you know how many of your card you need to make? In other words, is the swap only open to so many people? Or is it sign up now and we'll see later how many have signed up and that's how many you need to make? Just wondering if it would be beyond the time I could give it to get ready if it gets to be too many. Thanks!!!
As of today we do not kno how many will b attending. We just got the registration app put today. You would find out about 3 wks before how many to precut or premake. There is a max of 30 ppl to attend but we seem to usually have between 15 and 20. If there is more then bout 20 ppl then u would premake half and make the other half that day. It is a very fun event and u always leave with a ton of new ideas and meet new ppl that love to stamp too. Hope that makes sense. If u have more questions please do not hesitate to ask or see thread that is out there for the event labeled Wi*hartford shoebox swap 4 th annual.

(Special pricing may be available for a package of 10 or more of the same cards.)
