Hello! Hello! Hello! I'm from WI too. I live in Weston...just outside of Wausau.
My family and I just got back from a trip to Lambeau Field. We were going through Packer withdrawals. It was just enough to get us through to football season!

Hello all you fellow cheeseheads!! I am in Weston also! (Hi Kealie!)
Are any of you going to the Northwoods Gathering in October? I will be
there for Round 2! Hopefully it is as much fun as last year!!
Go Pack!!!
I grew up on the west side of Madison, moved to Waukesha in my late 20's, worked in Milwaukee and now live in Central NJ. Madison West class of '77 (I'm old...)
We'll be spending Thanksgiving with my dsis in Madison, though!

GrandmaLe! Is it an old NR name behind that SCS name?
I have lived in NR my entire life, so has my DH. So, I have to ask when you say teen years in NR, when was that? My folks grew up and went to high school in New Richmond too.

I can TOTALLY relate to the Packer withdrawals. Once Packer season is done for the year, I usually don't know what to do w/myself on Sundays etc. (Stamping is always good)! Great idea to go to Lambeau. The other day I happened to be flippin' through the channels and their was a Packer game on classic ESPN, I watched some of it! Weird right??, but I'm SO ready for some Packer football!
I'm a transplant Wisconsin-er, but I would like to say up front that I have been a Packer fan since I discovered football. heehee.
WI is definitely home now though ~ Capitol City, baby!!! I was so excited to see this post ~ more stamp-addicted people like me -- and close to home too! Yay!
my best friend lives in sheboygan, WI and i love it there! i will be in sheboygan and milwaukee in october , i heard its beautiful that time of year! i just thought i'd give a shout out to all you cheeseheads from a cheesehead at heart! see you in oct! lol

I'm a CHEESEHEAD! LOVE THE PACK! AND LOVE, LOVE, LOVE BRETT FAVRE!
Although, I live in the Southwest Suburbs of IL. However, my DH was born and raised in Wisconsin and we go there 4 or 5 times a year because the rest of his family is there. Someday when we are older we plan to retire up there. We usually go to Rhinelander, WI. It's about 5 hours from where we are. But on Friday...my MIL and I are taking our yearly summer trip to their park model in Minoqua...I think? Indian Lakes? I know we are going shopping in Minoqua and Eagle River and all that fun stuff. I will be there until Tuesday!
Don't ask me anything about the Packers though... I am *not* a football fan. It's funny how people assume I love Brett Favre just because I live near Green Bay. I'm like, "Who's Brett Favre???" ;)
I'm lovin' everyone is so proud of WI, but would you believe I'm born and raised in WI and can't stand football!? ::gasp:: I know I know, but after God, family, stampin' & Matchbox Twenty (those two are pretty much tie), there just isn't room for football. With age (not soooo much age, just some) I can tolerate other people "liking" it, but not loving it. Hey, there's one in every crowd, and I wear my independence proudly! Oh, and by the way, born and raised in Hartford, living on a farm outside of Mayville. Anyone heard of those?

Yuppers!! My DH is from Mayville and his family still lives there...I don't know how old you are, but he graduated in 1993, but has older brothers that graduated in the early and mid-80's...
That is so funny, as I had NEVER heard of Mayville until I met DH and I was born and raised in WI!!
Sorry to say I'm not much for football. I love baseball instead!! Go Cubs!
WOO HOO! I LOVE the Cubs! But I love football more. ;) Not just the Pack. The whole NFL. Can't get enough of it. The Pack and the Colts are my faves though. And if you're talkin' baseball, I'm a sucker for the Cubs and the Twins. Goin' the to the Twins/Red Sox game this weekend at the Dome!!
The 'post-game' from the Packer scrimmage is on in the background right now ;)
Hubby and I are both born & raised in Jefferson in SE Wisconsin. A little town (7,000) half way between Madison & Milwaukee. We get the best of a lot of stuff; close to Madison, close to Milwaukee, and relatively close to Chicago if the mood strikes. We've both lived here all of our lives, except my first year of college in Winona, MN, and a little stint in Oklahoma City for the both of us in 1991. (which we loved OKC as well)
My extended family is mainly from MN, but his family is scattered in SE Wisconsin. We are looking to buy a little weekend home with some land in the South Western part of Wisconsin soon. Enough of a get-away from here, but not too long in the car for the kids!
It's great to see all of the great SCS ladies from Wisconsin.

I'm in Neenah. Got to love the Fox Valley. I just found this thread as I was searching for information on Heat guns (trying to decide what kind to buy). . . .Yes the heat last week was unbearable. Was able to turn off the air on Thursday and open the windows. The best thing about Wisconsin . . if you dont like the weather just wait . . .it will change!
Its wonderful that training camp has started . . .gives us all exciting things to read about in the paper!
Go Pack Go!! I'm realitivly new to stamping . . .can you buy Packer Stamps anywhere?
I just joined this site yesterday. I found it while searching for a Hero Arts stamp that has been discontinued....didn't find it though :( I live in Milwaukee near Mayfair shopping center, and am a nurse at St. Joseph's hospital. I was surprised and pleased to see how many Wiscosnites are on here. I saw New Richmond mentioned several times. My sister-in-law and her family live there.
I'm just getting into papercrafts....well I should say I've been buying supplies for quite awhile....but have only made a few cards  I love all the papers, accessories, etc. My craft room is getting pretty full. My husband teases me because I have so many supplies and have made so few cards! I am an excellent procrastinator......now that I've found this site I'll probably be on the computer more than before :p I've read all your posts and looked at all the cards, etc. you've made....I know I'm going to get inspired by all you creative, friendly people!!!!
I was born & raised in Boyd/Cadott (Chippewa County), went to college in Eau Claire & Green Bay, had my children in Milton (there for 9 yrs!) and recently (well, okay, a year ago, still seems recent to me) moved to Eau Claire. I love all corners of the state! Still miss Milton the most though...although living in the same apt. complex as Brett Favre (and several other Packers) the yr he signed his contract (11 yrs ago) was a lot of fun!
My roomies & I had *a lot* of garbage we had to take to the dumpster at the same time the players would all come home from practice...
I do have relatives that live in New Richmond (Pape), but I actually lived in Somerset. I'm a class of '71.
Hey you guys, I have relatives in NR too. Larsons, pretty common name!! My dad is from Star Prairie and I still have some relatives there (mom's side though). I'm not too far from there, Menomonie.
Go Packers....Can't wait for the season to start!!
