Ok, I want to make sure everyone knows that is event is Aug. 21st. I have seen some messages that maybe ppl are thinking its the 14th. I hope that is still ok with everyone. Hope this doesn't screw up any plans. This date was not recently changed. It was originally changed when we posted the actual event because the 14th was taken by another event at the location.

Question: I'm working on my Unique Technique and everything I want to do, I end up looking on Splitcoast and it's already out there with a tutorial. Is everyone coming up with new and different things than are out there in "Resources" or is it okay to use one of those?

I just finished my Unique Technique tonight and it is one of the tutorials in the "resources", so I hope that is ok. If not, let me know soon so I have time to make something else.
I am doing a tech from the resources on SCS. I am not cool enough to come up with a new idea. So taking one from SCS is not a bad thing. I am doing one that I haven't seen b4.

Hi ladies hope all is going well. I forgot to ask if anyone needs to be seated by an outlet for embossing or anything? Just some last minute thoughts as I wait patiently to see everyone again.
WooHooo - I just noticed that the Hartford Balloon Rally is the same day. Last year the weather didn't cooperate, I surely hope it does this year. It's a wonderful, breathtaking event - the balloons lift off at dusk!

I did it. I met my goal of being done and ready for this event by 2 days. Finished everything up last night and packed everything. Just grab and load in car the day of. Wish it was tomorrow and not next week. Oh well, see everyone then.

ME TOO!!!! Got my ABC's done, Lottery, and almost done with my technique. Still have to do Cards, Notebooks and recipie cards. Just wanted to double check the numbers. This is hard with all my stuff packed up and being moved. I spend more time looking for stuff than making the swaps.
Hope everyone is getting excited. I now feel like I am running around with my head cut off. Hope everyone is done with their projects. Surprise!!!! I'm not lol.

I wanted to put a note out here to remind you about parking. It is fine to unload at the doors but please once you unload move your car to the back parking lot to the north.. This is because the bank is open Sat. morning and we need to leave the front parking open for the customers coming into the bank I anyone needs anything last minute or needs to get a hold of us please get our phone numbers from the application. Just finished up! Now to sell or not to sell?......Don't really feel like moving at all right now. Let's see how early I get up tomorrow. I"M SO EXCITED!!!!
I can't wait to see everyone tomorrow - we set up the tables tonight and wait'll you see the door prizes that Tiffany and Tamara picked out - I love 'em! I told Ann & Nate that they have to stop in so I can introduce them to everyone (yup, and show them off!) - we only live about 2 blocks away from the bank so they'll walk over to say "hi". For those of you that arrive early, the farmer's market will be open by 7 am and there's a great coffee/tea shop & restaurant called Perk Place - park at the bank and walk to your left for the farmer's market or to your right (on Main Street) to Perk Place. See everyone in about 9 hours!!
What a great day! Fun to see everyone again and Ladies....everything was fantastic. Everyone keeps that bar pretty high. It is getting harder and harder to keep up. I got home and as I unpacked I went through everything with my Mom. She was amazed at all the great stuff and then said...'Where are you going to put it all?' Good question, but I'll find a place.
Tiff, Tamara, and Diane V. Thanks for all the hard work and great Door Prizes, food and fun. (Diane...please let Ann know that I really appreciated her showing us how to do the fantastic weaving. She is a gem!.)

What a great day. I just want to say thank-you for a wonderful day of friendship and fun. I can't wait to get the recipe for the concrete brick bars.......wait a minute they are call something else.....hummmmm oh that's right ton bars no no.....I got it paperweight bars they were soooooo yummy!!!!!!!! Lunch was fantastic. Thanks for the great gifts. Can't wait to see everyone again. You are all the greatest. Diane, Ann is wonderful. She is so talented. Until we meet again MOOOOOOOO....
WOW - - I just got home and it's 11:50 pm!!!! After the Shoebox, I went out to dinner with Dianne B and Laura from Iowa and Aimee, a coworker in Milwaukee. We had dessert in Hartford at Scoop Deville and spent lots of time laughing and talking. Aimee took us to her house to show us the quilts she's been making, they're beautiful but after seeing her investment of fabric and the hours & hours she works on quilting, I know why I enjoy papercrafts more! THANKS EVERYONE FOR A FANTASTIC DAY!
I want to say a BIG thank you to all of you that have attended our 2nd annual Shoebox. It was a great day and wouldn't happen without you. I was great to see all of the great ideas everyone had AGAIN!!! Everyone just keeps surprising me. It getting hard to think of new things. So again Thank You. And hope to see you all and some more attendees next yr. I'm sure this will be an annual ritual. Or at least hopefully.
Can't wait for Oct. Have lots to plan for now. I better get me stamping room cleaned.
