I am so new here ...how do I send a PM...my addy is [email protected]
The easiest way is to left click on the person's name (on the left). Sending a PM is one of the options given there. Otherwise - up top were it says "Welcome", click on the little envelope icon. I'm pretty sure there are other ways as well.
Hi! My husband is in the Air Force and has orders for Dyess AFB in Abilene so we're moving there at the end of Nov. or first of Dec. I was wondering if there are any stampers in the Abilene area?
Thanks,
Talisa

I was born in Falfurrias Texas; when I was 5, moved to California, lived there until I was in my 20, then went to Virginia for 20 years, then 4 years years in Europe, back to Virginia for a couple more years and off to California again for 8 more years and then in March 1989 moved back to Texas; on the border city of Del Rio.
I am from PA but moved to San Antonio area four years ago. In the summer we moved to Georgetown (just above Austin)....
Just wanted to say hello to my fellow Texans!
Hi, And welcome to Texas. The Georgetown area is a beautiful part of Texas. I'm sure you'll love it there. I live in Carrollton, just North of Dallas. I've lived in Texas all my life, and in Carrollton for the past 23 years.

Moved from Madison, WI to Pflugerville, TX (close to Round Rock, Austin, and Georgetown)...love this location. We also moved a little over 2 1/2 years now. My husband works up in Temple.
It's a real shame that we've lost a lot of our LSS's.
Who knows...maybe run into ya'll at a Michael's or Hobby Lobby.

Hey there! It is so great so see so many stampers in this area!!!
We all have to make a date to get together---but after the holidays (lol--which I have barely begun to shop for--yipes!)
I was born and raised in San Antonio, but have lived in Iowa and Colorado, before coming back to the Dallas/Ft. Worth area. Those other places are too cold for me! LOL
My friend Becky and I are always looking for others in our area to crop with, so I'll check back to see if anything is going on soon!

I would love to meet and greet other North Texas scrappers. I am so sad since all the stores have closed-and rather abruptly too!
I am a born and raised Austinite. My DH and I currently live between Bastrop and Austin, but I am in Austin all the time. It is cool to get to see who also lives in the area.

I know this is last minute, but my daughters school is having an all day crop to raise money for a new playground. It is this Saturday and there is child care. Please email me at [email protected] for more information. Oh yea, we live in Killeen.
I wish I would have seen the info about the SA Sap a few months ago. Sounds like it should have been fun. Could someone put theire thoughts about it out there. Any more swaps coming up in the Houston area? I am actually in the Spring/ Woodlands area. Not a native Texan but I've been here log enough to have an accent according to everyone from up North. And I consider that a compliment!

There is a Shoebox Swap next Saturday in Brazoria County, easily accessible from Houston. The information on it is in the Get It Together forum here at Splitcoast. I can't make it this time, but I went to a shoebox swap in Houston in February 2008 and it was so much fun that I wish I could go next Saturday but other duties call. Let us know if you go.
I'm on Linda Lane, which parallels Franz Rd right across from Katy Jr. High. I have a friend in Firethorne. I work at the Education Support Complex for Katy ISD on 1463. We'll have to meet sometime.
